## Description

## What it is
OKIAAS Pink Gloves M are latex-free vinyl gloves designed for general household tasks, food handling, lab work and more. Made from five mil thick PVC, they’re pitched as a cost-effective option where latex sensitivity is a concern. The gloves come in a pink colour and are sold in boxes of 50, with a range of sizes available to help you find a comfortable fit.

## Why it matters
Vinyl gloves are typically less form-fitting and elastic than latex or nitrile, which can affect tactile sensitivity and wear-time. For routine tasks that don’t demand high mechanical strength, they can offer good value for money while still providing barrier protection against dirt, dust and everyday contaminants. The powder-free design reduces the risk of powder transfer and potential reactions for sensitive users.

## What to know before buying
Sizing is important with vinyl gloves. If you’re between sizes, the base recommendation is to go one size up to avoid tearing or a tight fit. The medium size is aimed at standard adult hands and is described as smooth-textured for better tactile feel—hand movement, texting on a mobile phone, and general dexterity should still be manageable.

## How it performs in use
In practical terms, these gloves are suitable for a range of light-to-moderate tasks: cooking, food handling, kitchen cleaning, gardening, and basic lab or beauty-related activities. They’re not advertised as heavy-duty or chemical-resistant, so if you expect heavy or prolonged chemical exposure, you might want to consider a more robust option.

## What stands out
On the surface, the key benefits are cost-effectiveness, latex-free convenience for allergy‑prone users, and a straightforward 50‑glove box format that suits spill-over needs in home and small- to medium‑scale environments. The pink colour can help with quick visual identification in busy workflows.

## What may not convince you
If you prioritise tactile sensitivity or high puncture resistance, vinyl gloves generally don’t match latex or nitrile. Some users may find vinyl less durable for long sessions or tasks requiring fine grip and precision over extended periods. And if you require superior chemical protection or a snug fit for delicate handling, you might look for alternatives tailored to those needs.

## Who it’s for
This product suits households, casual food handlers, light lab work, schools, beauty and personal care settings where allergy concerns exist and the budget is a consideration. It can work well for events or short-term use where disposable gloves are needed without a premium price tag.

## Who might want to pass
If you regularly perform high-intensity cooking with frequent gripping or you work in environments with strong solvents or harsh detergents, these gloves may not offer the longevity you expect. For users who prioritise the tightest fit or maximum tactile feedback, nitrile or latex options may be more appropriate.

## Quick checklist before you buy
- Confirm the size: medium is suitable for most adults, but check your hand measurements and consider going up a size if in doubt.
- Consider your task: light handling and general cleaning align well with vinyl, whereas heavy-duty lab or chemical tasks might require a different material.
- Check for powder-free and latex-free as advertised to minimise allergy risks.
- Plan for replacement: a box of 50 is handy, but ensure you have a steady supply if you expect persistent use.

## Practical example of use
At home, you might wear these gloves while preparing raw meats or handling fresh produce. The smooth texture helps you still operate a mobile phone without removing them, which can be convenient during multi-step tasks like meal prep or cleaning after cooking.

## FAQ (where data allows)
- Are these gloves powder-free? Yes, they are described as powder-free.
- What is the thickness? They are five mil thick PVC.
- Can they be used for lab work? They’re listed for lab work among other uses, though for heavy chemical exposure or long lab sessions you may want a more robust option.

## Is it worth it?
Worth considering if you need a cost-conscious, latex-free option for light to moderate tasks and you value ease of fit with a smooth texture. If your work demands higher durability or precise tactile control, you might want to explore alternatives with tighter fit and greater puncture resistance.
