Product description

Highlights

These Ohuhu double‑ended alcohol markers combine a flexible brush tip and a soft chisel tip to cover both bold strokes and fine detail. The set includes 60 illustration colours plus a colourless blender, offering a wide palette for colouring, illustration and sketching. The ink is ACMI certified non‑toxic, and according to the manufacturer the quick‑drying formula blends smoothly with minimal smudging, so you can layer tones without fuss.

Tech specs

  • Name: Ohuhu Markers 60+1 Colours
  • Type: Alcohol markers
  • Format: Double tipped
  • Tip: Brush tip and soft chisel tip
  • Capacity: 60 colours plus 1 blender

Why it makes sense

The soft chisel tip feels closer to a brush than a traditional firm chisel, which helps when shifting from large area fills to precise lines. The brush tip gives a 1–6 mm stroke range and suits calligraphic marks as well as broad washes, while the chisel covers 1–4 mm for neat edges. Replacement brush tips are available, which extends the usable life of the set and improves value for money. A small caveat is that alcohol inks require suitable paper to avoid bleed through, so choose a heavier pad for best results.

Getting the most from it

It’s a good fit if you mix detailed illustration with freer, painterly techniques. Try laying midtones first and use the colourless blender to soften transitions, then add darker accents once the ink has dried. For marker skins and journals check paper grain and weight to reduce show‑through, and store horizontally to keep tip performance even.
