OFFCUP Hanging Egg Chair Cover 115x190cm

A hanging egg chair cover is a simple upgrade that helps keep your outdoor seat looking presentable through the seasons, and the OFFCUP hanging egg chair cover is built for exactly that job. With a stated 115 by 190 cm size and tough 210D Oxford fabric, it aims to shield your chair from rain, dust and UV exposure while staying in place during breezier patio days. If you want a protective layer that is straightforward to fit and live with, this is worth a close look for garden swing chairs and similar outdoor seating.

The essentials

This cover is made for hanging egg chairs and other suspended or single outdoor chairs, using a size of 115 by 190 cm which matches the product’s own fitting guidance. The fabric is 210D Oxford cloth, described by the manufacturer as providing triple protection, namely waterproofing, UV resistance and dust protection. The thick texture is intended to help the chair stay dry even in harsher weather conditions like ice and snow, which is particularly useful if your chair is kept outside for long periods. The design also focuses on day to day practicality, using a zipper so you can fasten it securely when you step away from the patio.

One practical reason to consider this cover is that it is designed to create a stable, more wind-resistant fit. The cover includes a reinforced hem rope and ties that can be fixed under the chair frame, helping the material stay where it belongs when gusts hit. That stability matters because covers that flap and shift tend to wear faster, and they can leave parts of the chair exposed. Here, the manufacturer’s approach is to keep the cover anchored and to extend the service life of the patio furniture through more consistent protection.

A second benefit is maintenance. The manufacturer suggests wiping the cover with a damp cloth and drying it quickly in the sun, rather than relying on machine washing. That guidance is helpful if you want routine cleaning to be quick and low hassle. A storage bag is also included, so you can keep the cover tidy when you are not using it, for example over longer indoor periods.

Key features

The cover is built around a few clear features that support protection and fitting. First, the 210D Oxford fabric is positioned as both durable and protective, with the manufacturer stating it is waterproof, UV resistant and dust proof. Second, it uses a convenient zipper to help you secure the cover neatly over the chair. The included reinforced hem rope and tied fixing approach are designed to improve stability and safety in strong winds.

For outdoor use, isolation from weather and everyday exposure is the core goal. The manufacturer describes the cover as helping isolate dust and sunlight to keep furniture cleaner for longer, while also offering waterproof and frost proof protection. If you regularly find pollen, grit and general grime settling on your outdoor cushions, a cover like this can reduce the time spent cleaning before you sit down again. It also helps protect the chair’s appearance, supporting a more consistent look across the season.

It also suits a broader range of seating types than just one single chair style. The product description states it can be suitable for most stacking chairs, reclining garden chairs, single seats, and similar garden furniture forms, which can be helpful if you have more than one outdoor seating setup. Worth noting that the cover is designed around the given 115 by 190 cm dimensions, so it is best matched to chairs where this size is appropriate. If your chair sits very differently in size or shape, double checking measurements before buying is a sensible step.
