It’s designed for small dogs (and it can work for cats too), and the whole point is portability: your pet sits close while you stay hands-free for day-to-day errands. The denim look also matters for a lot of buyers. It’s not just functional, it’s presented as a premium, everyday accessory. That said, it’s still a sling—so it can be less suitable if you need maximum support or you’re planning long, continuous carry times. ## What you get and how it works On paper, the setup is straightforward. You connect a safety belt and then snap it up, and the carrier is described as having a “double safety feature”, meaning there are two layers of security working together. For a smaller pet, that’s a reassuring approach for quick outings where you want peace of mind. There’s also an adjustable padded shoulder strap, so you can change the length for better fit while wearing it. That matters because sling carriers live and die by comfort—too long and your pet sits awkwardly, too short and it can feel restrictive. A magnetic pocket is included for small essentials. The brand mentions items like a smartphone, treats, doggy bags and keys, which is exactly the kind of practical detail that makes a sling feel less like “just a carrier” and more like something you’ll actually use. ## Where it shines on everyday walks and trips This sling carrier is positioned for convenience during walks, outings and travels. A common scenario is older dogs or pets recovering from issues: the description notes it can be beneficial for older dogs with visual impairments, injuries, or post-surgery recovery. If your dog gets nervous on busy streets, or you simply want them closer during transitions (think crossing roads, waiting at a cafe, stepping onto public transport), a sling can be a calmer option than trying to manage a larger carrier. It’s also a sensible choice if you’re the sort of owner who prefers quick in-and-out solutions—grab the sling, clip the safety, adjust the strap, and you’re ready. Not everything needs to be a big trip. ## Comfort and safety: what to consider Double safety features and an adjustable padded strap are the big selling points here. Still, it’s worth being realistic about sling carriers: the comfort level depends heavily on your personal fit and your pet’s tolerance for being carried in a close, supported position. Also, the sizing range is specific—5–18lb (2.2–8 kg) is the target. If your pet is outside that range, the carrier may not fit properly, and that can affect both comfort and security. And while the materials are described as washable (machine washable is stated), you’ll still want to check that care routine matches how often you expect to use it. ## Tech specs (so you don’t have to guess) - Type: Dog sling carrier - Name: Noah & Paw Dog Sling Carrier - Suitable for: Small dogs and cats - Pet weight range: 5–18lb (2.2–8 kg) - Strap: Adjustable padded shoulder strap - Material/finish: Premium denim - Lining: Lined with fur - Safety: Double safety feature (safety belt connection and snap-up) - Closure/securement method: Connect safety belt then snap it up - Pocket: Magnetic pocket for small essentials - Care: Machine washable ## Should you buy it? ## Final verdict Worth buying if you want a compact, hands-free sling carrier for small dogs within the 5–18lb range (and possibly for cats), especially for short outings where closeness and quick access matter. It makes practical sense for essentials-on-the-go thanks to the magnetic pocket, and the double safety approach is reassuring for everyday errands. You may want to skip it if your priority is long-duration carrying with maximum support, or if your pet’s weight sits outside the stated range—sling carriers can’t “grow” with the fit requirement. It also may not suit you if you prefer a more structured carrier for travel, because a sling’s comfort and security depend on getting the strap length right. ## Mini FAQ ## Is it suitable for cats as well as dogs? The product description calls it a dog sling carrier for small dogs and also mentions a cat sling carrier, so it’s presented as usable for both. ## What pet weight is it designed for? It’s tailored for pets weighing 5–18lb (2.2–8 kg). ## How is the safety secured? The description states you connect a safety belt and then snap it up, with two layers of safety included. ## Can it be cleaned easily? It’s described as machine washable with washable materials, which helps if you plan regular use. ## What can the magnetic pocket hold? The description specifically mentions items like a smartphone, treats, doggy bags and keys—use it for the stuff you don’t want bouncing in a bag or pocket. ## Images ![Noah & Paw dog sling carrier \(denim\) for small dogs 5–18lb and cats — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/0AWk7ptVatrrQ_YY_MHGUcz89yXco-OCE3MGcoJ_hVvQ2h5XO4PhrydP8K51w1SniwVsKWjg8SnLSeM9N70Aa2ZA8zvFs7rWm_BlxumTbzQit2qbwX4CLt3q9w.jpg) ![Noah & Paw dog sling carrier \(denim\) for small dogs 5–18lb and cats — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/YNxwGvqqecgzZ-rl5YQBkr_cxQvlg_EsRoEDGYpUKfmSzTtMVbkk4QA2i-MAjdng5joMSY9aHsLx2c9jPcHqQtlbuSicvFzLwAwfedI1NL7x4ssdyGXDGy6d4A.jpg) ![Noah & Paw dog sling carrier \(denim\) for small dogs 5–18lb and cats — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/bsUGjjGKoqXiWfRE8oKxV39Zd_GQGLuMqtJiOZNziaXL2nC9uEBDw2QBTNu6LMi16Y-VYKL9HdAEm2PiT-a2-gNGGmbzRTbyxR9rfFB3D3yc-uuKK5FYPpxCsg.jpg) ![Noah & Paw dog sling carrier \(denim\) for small dogs 5–18lb and cats — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/GZB7Qp95yOINZNelzwKNXtGrCIP43avhY7fp8Dd51ntPVvSLJ-TYQgeKCldUKZKPN98P3md8YcOyvpMwPPXvGeYNk9CCjVCQtO2E5SxE0wJugkg3MXsJwKob8g.jpg) ![Noah & Paw dog sling carrier \(denim\) for small dogs 5–18lb and cats — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/WwLDgKOs3pOjLiWA_DkImQrIWx4FIqmlwAHwppG0cEoubZBQVx4xNzgJmnRZXZNfj3Dn4nCwfctyq80akJ2SuJ52QhbDdkR7lrHzzC67d5a1KFSqA8HtPyttVw.jpg)
