## Description

This compact cat water fountain combines a modest footprint with a 2 litre reservoir to keep cats and small dogs hydrated while occupying little space. The NICREW fountain includes adjustable flow options and a soft LED glow, making it practical for night-time visibility and encouraging pets to drink more fresh water.

## Key Points

The fountain has a 2 L (67 oz) capacity, which suits small and medium pets and reduces the need for frequent refills. It uses a USB-powered 1.5 W pump with a UK plug and operates at or below 30 dB, so it runs quietly and is unlikely to disturb household activity or your pet’s rest. The visible translucent water window emits a gentle blue LED light to help you monitor level and consumption in low light.

## Technical Specifications

- **Name**: **NICREW Cat Water Fountain**
- Capacity: 2 L (67 oz)
- Pump power: 1.5 W, USB powered with UK plug
- Noise level: ≤30 dB
- Filter system: ion exchange resin, coconut shell activated carbon, cotton mesh and foam

## Benefits

The fountain’s quadruple filtration is designed to soften tap water and remove odours and impurities, while mesh and foam layers catch debris and hair to protect the pump. Multiple drinking modes let you change the outlet to a gentle flow, bubbling top or calm stream so pets can choose the water movement they prefer. The soft LED glow helps with low-light checks and may make the fountain more appealing to cats that favour moving water.

## Usage Recommendations

Soak the new filter for around 10 minutes in clean water before first use, according to the manufacturer. Filters are suggested to be replaced every 2 to 4 weeks depending on use. Consider placing the fountain on a level surface away from direct sunlight to slow algae growth and maintain cooler water temperatures. Note that while the pump is very quiet, mineral build-up or trapped hair may increase noise over time, so regular cleaning will help maintain performance.
