## Description

The Nicpro MP1000 set brings six metal mechanical pencils together with a selection of leads and erasers for sketching, drafting and everyday writing. Designed with a threaded metal grip and hexagonal body, the pencils aim to reduce hand fatigue while offering steady control for fine lines and shading. The set suits students, art teachers and engineers who need dependable tools for classwork, technical notes or quick studies.

## Key features

Comfort and control are central to the MP1000 design. The metal grip is threaded to prevent slipping, and the hexagonal barrel prevents rolling on a desk. According to the manufacturer the push mechanism gives smooth lead advance, making it easier to maintain a consistent line when drawing or taking notes. The metal construction adds durability without feeling heavy in use.

## Specifications

- Name: Nicpro MP1000 Series
- Type: Mechanical pencil set
- Format: Propelling pencil
- Size: 0.5 mm, 0.7 mm, 0.9 mm
- Capacity: 12 tubes of lead refills with 60 pieces per tube

## Why it’s worth it

The kit includes a broad range of point sizes which helps when switching between precise technical lines and softer sketch marks. It also comes with HB and 2B leads plus spare erasers, so you can keep working without hunting for extras. Bear in mind that the claim of 720 replacement leads is according to the product listing and reflects the included refill tubes rather than daily lifespan.

## Best use cases

It’s a good fit if you often switch between drafting and freehand sketching, or if you teach and need consistent supplies for a class. The metal grip and durable body make these pencils suitable for frequent use in a studio or classroom setting. If you prefer very slim lightweight pencils the metal barrels may feel firmer than plastic alternatives. 🖊️✏️🧾

## Care & maintenance

Store the set in the supplied case to protect tips and erasers, and keep spare leads in their tubes to avoid breakage. Cleaning the grip threads occasionally will maintain smooth retraction and prolong the mechanism's life.
