It combines three solid carpenter pencils in red, black and yellow with 39 refills, a built-in replaceable sharpener, and a compact plastic storage box. The pencils feature a long 45 mm metal tip intended to improve visibility when marking in deeper holes or tight spaces. ## How it helps in practice On paper, this kit aims to speed up marking and layout work by offering a durable lead and multi-surface capability. The colour variety helps keep track of different tasks or materials on site, while the integrated sharpener reduces the risk of misplacing a separate tool. The elongated tip is useful for marking lines in harder-to-reach areas where standard pencils may struggle. ## What stands out and what may fall short The standout aspects are the three-colour system, the robust 2.8 mm lead with 39 refills, and the convenience of an integrated sharpener secured at the pencil’s top. This setup can be practical for quick touch-ups on metal, plastic, wood and paper surfaces. However, it’s worth noting that the marks rely on the lead’s quality and the user’s technique, if you require ultra-fine lines or crayons for glass or glossy coatings, this set may not be the best match. Some users might also prefer a dedicated mechanical pencil with more advanced lead advance features for precision work. ## Who it’s for This kit suits professional carpenters, contractors, builders and DIY enthusiasts who value a ready-to-go marking solution with minimal gear fuss. It’s particularly handy for projects involving multiple materials or when you need distinct colours to denote different steps or dimensions. ## When it makes sense to buy If you routinely work with wooden assemblies, framing, or timber kits where quick, legible marks are essential, this set offers a practical combination of durability and convenience. It’s sensible for someone who wants an all-in-one solution—pencils, refills and a sharpened point—without hunting for separate components. ## When it might not be the best option If your work demands ultra-fine, precise lines, or if you frequently mark glossy or non-porous finishes where graphite or chalk lines don’t hold well, you might want to consider additional marking tools or specialised markers. Also, the package relies on a traditional lead, for some high-precision metalworking tasks, a dedicated mechanical marking tool with replaceable carbide tips could be preferable. ## What to check before buying - Confirm the compatibility of the 2.8 mm leads with your existing marking preferences. - Assess whether the colour set matches your standard colour-coding for jobs. - Ensure the integrated sharpener seating is secure and won’t detach during transport. - Consider how the 45 mm elongated tip performs in your typical hole depths and marking scenarios. ## Practical usage example Imagine assembling a wooden frame where you need to mark mortises in several boards with a clear, bold line. The red, black and yellow leads give you quick colour coding for different components, while the integrated sharpener keeps the line crisp after a few passes. The plastic case helps you keep the pack organised on a crowded workbench. ## What you’ll notice in day-to-day use You’ll likely appreciate the ready-to-mark setup and the absence of frequent lead resharpening interruptions. The three-colour option adds a small but useful level of organisation, and the kit’s robustness should withstand typical workshop use. ## Technical details Technical overview: 2.8 mm lead, 45 mm elongated metal tip, 39 refills across three solid colours, integrated pencil sharpener, includes plastic storage box. ## What’s included In the box you’ll find 3 solid carpenter pencils (red, black, yellow), 39 refills, 1 replaceable pencil sharpener, and 1 plastic storage box. ## FAQ (few practical points) - Will the marks wash off easily? Marks from carpenter pencils are typically visible on wood and most surfaces but may fade with heavy handling. - Can the sharpener be used with all three pencils? Yes, the sharpener is designed to be compatible with the pencils in the set. - Is it suitable for metal marking? The description notes marking on metal along with wood and plastic, though results can vary by surface and coating. ## Is it worth it? Worth considering if you prioritise an all-in-one marking solution with multiple colours, a built-in sharpener, and a durable lead for everyday carpentry tasks. It may not be the best choice if you need ultra-fine marks or specialised markers for non-porous surfaces. ## Images ![Nicpro 3 Pack Carpenter Pencil with Sharpener — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/acIB-tqgy5jALmuOHTnMFCLTVl-yYlLUilSNwzW4F65dasBG6VMRcvrz-F3cq9VpIBXXhu0ygMCV1iqUFD7-LYUN45NRsqSSAP_Bol7d6VqDC3oW95ZIayfppQ.jpg) ![Nicpro 3 Pack Carpenter Pencil with Sharpener — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/Kl-jU08cN8or97dJOo4DAHKbtV5FBoVC1Q-OE3tEWeEN3KqWNS3-RUVCh7xlYqhryanMUsyLpX18IDvozyM0PUCc4H06xzOvqwCLw_g2ThD8nFsA-Gb-5fQeNQ.jpg) ![Nicpro 3 Pack Carpenter Pencil with Sharpener — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/gNjWQlyKD-2RGek_OdvgelMblTh061RZaDwSTd6iWuSTONndUnvWl_hdTybKxHecV3GhgXepNWS1ZeZNJItGcE_y3rKLIdeMaIcVhHuX97H2vb1F0f2mEKrhLg.jpg) ![Nicpro 3 Pack Carpenter Pencil with Sharpener — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/410qv3fix_Yr19ZC4X-MwkFCWCsGWDM7WQg3BrB3q4-Bd02XqwPcNeQxM85obXHqo5YWrN1YffJnznaoQ7EtiQXTkO3X21G6Gx7jKXMop26Szuvhd-KdudXqyg.jpg) ![Nicpro 3 Pack Carpenter Pencil with Sharpener — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/AamrWg2smstGMtmolLz17Kyj6alTE4xKvBy-Vyl23Jgc8e85GMXAWGTTmY97cWEA46BDG_MrOuOGvl9mr4IbtBdRlrFYvSbgLplX4hSymRjxB1jScdliaRATxQ.jpg)
