## Description

If you’re the sort of person who drafts, sketches or writes a lot, a reliable mechanical pencil set is one of those boring-but-important tools. This Nicpro set focuses on keeping things simple: metal mechanical pencils, HB lead refills, erasers, and a storage case so the lot doesn’t end up loose in a bag.

## The essentials
This is a 3-piece set of Nicpro mechanical drafting pencils, each with a 0.7 mm lead size. The bundle is rounded out with lead refill tubes (HB), plus three erasers and additional eraser refills. On paper, it’s built for everyday use where you don’t want the faff of sharpening—just click, write and keep moving.

There’s also an emphasis on grip. The pencils have a sculpted grip with a soft silicone contour intended to sit comfortably in the fingers during longer sessions. The barrel includes anti-slip ridges for more controlled line work, which matters if you’re doing careful notes, architectural-style marking, or tighter sketching.

## What’s it for, in real life?
Think students doing homework and revision, artists blocking in sketches, or professionals and technical staff making diagrams or CAD-related notes. The set is also positioned as a take-anywhere option thanks to the plastic storage case.

A practical example: you’re in a lecture or at a desk, jotting down ideas for hours. Instead of switching between tools, you can keep all the refills and spares in the case. When the lead runs out (and it will, eventually), you replace with the included HB lead tubes rather than hunting around.

## Where it stands out
A few parts of the design look particularly sensible for day-to-day work:

- **0.7 mm mechanical lead**: a middle-of-the-road thickness that tends to suit writing, drafting-style lines and sketching without feeling too thick or too fragile.
- **Metal body and balance**: the pencils have a metal construction with a brass-like body mentioned in the description, aimed at a more professional feel and a balanced grip for more controlled work.
- **No sharpening needed**: the lead is described as pre-loaded, and the set is designed so you advance with a simple click.
- **Lead that doesn’t smear much and erases cleanly**: the description claims the lead is durable, doesn’t stain easily, and can be removed neatly with the included erasers.

## The bits to be cautious about
No pencil set is “perfect for everyone”, and this one may not fit every situation.

First, you’re tied to **0.7 mm** and **HB**. That’s fine for most sketching and general technical notes, but if your workflow is built around a different lead size or a softer/harder grade, you may find this restrictive.

Second, the description talks about a comfortable grip and anti-slip control, but comfort is personal. If you have very specific preferences for grip shape or pencil weight, it’s worth considering whether “silicone contour + ridges” matches what you already like.

## Buying verdict
It’s a solid pick if you want a complete mechanical pencil setup you can keep in one place—pencils plus refills and erasers—without constantly topping up your kit. The metal construction, click-advance mechanism and “grip for longer sessions” approach make sense for students, artists, engineers/technicians, and anyone who uses a pencil daily for notes, drafting or sketching.

It may not be the best match if you already have your preferred lead grade and thickness, or if you’re picky about the feel of a specific grip style. And if you only need a single pencil (rather than a bundle), this is more value-focused as a kit than as a standalone replacement.

## Mini FAQ
## Does it include spare lead and erasers?
Yes. The set includes HB lead refill tubes, plus erasers and additional eraser refills, all described as part of the package.

## What lead size is it made for?
The pencils are made for **0.7 mm** lead.

## Is it suitable for everyday writing and drawing?
Based on the claims in the description—no sharpening needed, click advancement, and erasing cleanly—it’s clearly aimed at writing, sketching and drafting-style tasks.

## Is the storage case useful?
It’s included and designed to help with portability and keeping everything organised, which is handy if you take supplies with you.

## Should you buy it?
If you can work with **0.7 mm HB**, this kit makes practical sense because it bundles pencils and refills together in a storage case. If your work demands a different lead grade or you’re simply after a minimal one-pencil replacement, you may want to look at a less bundle-heavy option.
