## Description

A realistic plush fish cat toy can turn everyday play into something your indoor cat looks forward to, and the Nepfaivy Floppy Fish Cat Toy is built around that exact idea. With a touch sensor that triggers the fish to swing and make a sound, it encourages biting, chewing and kick style play. 🐟 It also includes catnip, so the attraction is twofold for many cats, including kittens as they learn what to chase.

## The essentials
The Nepfaivy Floppy Fish Cat Toy is designed for indoor cats, where you still want active play without needing you to be constantly involved. Flip the switch on the toy and it reacts when your cat slaps or touches it thanks to a built in touch sensor. When your cat stops interacting, the movement stops as well, which the manufacturer says helps save electricity.

The toy uses a simulation style approach with short plush and a realistic fish feel, using 3D printing and simulation design. That matters if you prefer toys that look interesting at a glance, but also feel gentle for small paws. The moving action is intended to pull your cat into hunt style play, with the toy swinging and sounding when stimulated.

There is also a catnip component to add scent attraction. The toy comes with a small bag of organically grown catnip, which you can place inside the toy or remove it, depending on how you want to use it. Since cats can vary in how they respond to scent, this flexibility lets you adjust your approach over time.

## Key features
The interaction is the main hook. The toy is activated by the cat’s contact, so it moves when your cat makes contact and stops when they disengage. That creates an easy rhythm for play sessions, without requiring complicated setups.

It is also rechargeable, which suits indoor households where you want a toy that can be topped up for repeated use. The charging process is straightforward, you open the zip and plug in a USB cable to charge the interactive toy. The LED light turns off when charging is complete, according to the description, which helps you avoid overthinking when it is ready again.

Worth noting, the motor of the interactive catnip toy is detachable and should be removed, along with the catnip, before cleaning. This is an important practical point for hygiene, especially if your cat bites and kicks the toy frequently. It also means cleaning needs a little care, but it keeps the electronics separate from the plush section.

The catnip toy concept is supported by smell. The catnip is described as 100% organically grown and the fragrance is said to be strong enough to stimulate play. If your cat is sensitive to strong scents, you can try using the catnip separately first, then place it inside once you know how your cat reacts.

If you like to observe your cat’s reactions, the motion is part of the fun. The toy is built to encourage hunting behaviour, with swing like movement that can feel engaging even to cats who get bored with static toys. A “set and watch” style play session can help build engagement when you are busy.

Finally, there is a satisfaction guarantee and an instruction card included. If you have questions about the toy’s use, the description says you can contact the seller by email for a satisfactory solution.

## Who it’s for
It’s a good fit if you want an indoor cat toy that reacts to your cat’s behaviour, rather than needing constant hand play. It also makes sense if your cat enjoys chewing and kicking toys, because the motion is triggered when your cat touches the fish and continues while engagement continues. You’ll like it if you prefer plush that is described as short and designed not to hurt your cat’s paws.

It may not be a great match if you need a fully hands off toy with no interaction at all, because it needs your cat to touch it to trigger movement. It might not suit you if you want something that is quick to clean without any separation steps, as the motor and catnip need to be taken out before cleaning. That said, for many households, the touch activated swing plus catnip scent makes for a practical daily play option that is easy to recharge.
