## Description

This compact 10.5 inch desk ring light provides soft, even illumination for video calls, streaming and makeup tasks, helping improve on-camera appearance with minimal setup. It is USB powered and offers three colour tones and ten brightness levels, making it a straightforward addition to a home office or content-creation desk.

## Key Points

The ring light is aimed at beginners who want simple, effective lighting without complicated controls. The diffuser spreads light evenly, which reduces harsh shadows and helps create a more flattering look for livestreams, selfies and video conferences. The stand extends and locks up to 78 cm so you can position the light at eye level for flattering angles.

A central phone holder supports both vertical and horizontal mounting, and a small Bluetooth remote is included to trigger the phone shutter. Controls are physical buttons on the unit, letting you switch between warm, neutral and cool tones quickly. The unit is portable and powered via USB, so it is easy to use with a laptop, power bank or USB adapter. 😊

## Usage Recommendations

Place the ring light on a stable surface with the wide nonslip metal base to prevent wobble during recording. For video calls position the phone or camera at the centre of the halo and set a neutral or cool tone to reduce room colour casts. For makeup or portrait-style videos try a warmer tone and lower brightness to soften highlights. For longer sessions the built-in timer can be set to 3, 6, 9 or 12 hours to avoid leaving the light on unnecessarily. 🎥

Consider that according to the manufacturer the light is an entry-level model and so it lacks advanced features such as app control or high CRI values above 90, which may matter to professional photographers. Also note the metal base provides stability on most desks but might not suit very soft or uneven surfaces, so a dedicated stand could be preferable for heavier setups.
