## Description

This replacement dummy battery coupler kit supplies continuous AC power to Nikon mirrorless cameras, avoiding frequent battery swaps during long shoots and live streaming. It is useful for studio sessions, time‑lapses and prolonged recording where mains power is available, and it helps maintain uninterrupted operation according to the manufacturer.

## Key Points

The kit replaces the EN-EL25 battery with a DC coupler that fits into the battery compartment, allowing the camera to draw power from the mains while keeping battery door access closed. Cable length is generous, so you can place the adapter and power source at a comfortable distance from the camera for flexible studio or location setups. The design includes built‑in safeguards against overheating, overcharge, overvoltage and short circuit, contributing to a stable supply during extended use. Consider that this solution requires mains access and is not a substitute for portable battery power when shooting outdoors without sockets.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **NEEWER EN-EL25 Replacement Dummy Battery Coupler Kit**
- Compatible models: Nikon Z50, Z fc, Z30, EP-5G
- Total combined cable length: 145.8 inches (370 cm)
- DC coupler length: 37.8 inches (96 cm)
- AC adapter cable length: 49 inches (124 cm)
- UK plug cord length: 59 inches (150 cm)

## Usage Recommendations

Insert the dummy battery into the camera’s battery slot and route the cable so it exits without stressing the battery compartment. Place the AC adapter and plug where they are protected from moisture and tripping hazards. For longer sessions, monitor the adapter and connector temperatures from time to time according to the manufacturer’s notes, especially in warmer environments. This arrangement suits fixed positions like desks, rigs and tripods rather than mobile handheld shooting.

## Advantages

This kit reduces interruptions caused by changing batteries and keeps the camera powered for long exposures, interviews and continuous recording. It simplifies workflows for vloggers and content creators working from a fixed location, and it removes the need to recharge multiple spare batteries during a single day of shooting. The included UK plug cord means the set is ready to use on UK mains without additional accessories.
