Product description
NEEWER's 67mm True Colors Variable ND Filter blends adjustable neutral density and circular polarising functions into a single compact unit, letting photographers control exposure and reflections without swapping glass. It suits lenses with a 67mm thread and works well for landscape, architecture and travel photography where quick one‑hand adjustments speed up the workflow.
Key features
This 2 in 1 filter combines a variable ND range from ND2 to ND32, offering up to 5 stops of light reduction according to the manufacturer. A hand knob lets you loosen and rotate the filter to set the desired ND stop, then lock it and turn into CPL mode to cut glare and enhance saturation. The multi coated HD optical glass aims for true to life colour reproduction so you spend less time correcting colour in post. Be aware that at the maximum aperture some lenses and focal lengths may show an X shaped darkening with variable ND use.
Specifications
- Size: 67mm
- Type: Variable ND and Circular Polariser
- Material: Multi coated optical glass
- Frame: CNC machined aluminium alloy
- ND range: ND2 to ND32
Benefits
The integrated CPL reduces reflections from water, glass and foliage while the ND control helps manage shutter speed and depth of field in bright conditions. The slim aluminium frame keeps vignetting low on wide lenses and the coatings resist water, dust and fingerprints. The combined design reduces the number of separate filters to carry, which streamlines kit and travel weight.
How to use it
Loosen the hand knob to rotate the filter to the required ND density, then lock the knob and rotate the outer ring for polarisation adjustment. It is handy when you need to slow shutter speed for motion blur or to control depth of field in daylight, and when reflections or sky glare are diminishing image contrast. It’s a good fit if you value quick, practical control with modest gear.
This filter is made for lenses with a 67mm thread, check your lens marking before purchase. The integrated knob may prevent use with some lens hoods, so bear that in mind when planning outdoor shoots.
