The set is built to sit in a protective case with two lens caps and a cleaning cloth, offering a compact, ready‑to‑go solution for everyday photography and video work. ## How it works and who it suits The UV filter provides a basic protective layer for your front element. The CPL (circular polariser) helps reduce reflections from non‑metallic surfaces and can boost colour saturation and contrast in certain scenes. The standout piece is the variable ND (ND2‑400), which can reduce light by 1–9 stops. This enables you to shoot at wider apertures or slower shutter speeds in bright conditions, helping you achieve cinematic motion blur or controller exposure without changing your composition. This kit is aimed at creators who want a simple, portable filter solution and already work with 58mm lenses. The frame is rigid and slim, designed to minimise vignetting on wide‑angle use. Do note that the 58mm variable ND filter has a 62mm front thread, so you’ll need 62mm caps/hoods when using that element. ## What stands out in use On paper, multicoated glass offers improved water and fingerprint resistance, and reduces scratches, which is helpful when you’re shooting in less controlled environments. The CPL’s ability to cut glare and enhance colour can make landscapes and cityscapes pop, especially when reflections are a distraction. ## The drawbacks to consider It’s not a perfect all‑in‑one solution. The 58mm variable ND’s 62mm front thread means you must mix components and accessories thoughtfully, which can be fiddly in fast shoots. Also, a three‑filter kit may be more than some beginners need if you’re just starting out and require a single, consistently reliable filter. ## What compromises or context to keep in mind If you prioritise compact totals and portability, this kit stacks neatly in the case but adds the burden of caring for three filters as opposed to a single option. The benefits of the CPL and UV are context‑dependent, you’ll notice the CPL most in reflective scenes or bright skies, while the ND is about exposure control and motion blur—situations that aren’t universal across every type of shoot. ## Before you buy: practical checks - Confirm your lens uses 58mm filter threads, otherwise, you’ll need step‑up/step‑down adapters, which can complicate usability. - Consider whether you’ll frequently use a CPL, in some scenes it’s essential, in others it may be redundant. - Review your kit’s front‑thread compatibility: the 58mm ND’s 62mm front thread requires matching accessories. - Check if you already own a protective case and cleaning cloth, the included items add value if you’re often shooting on location. ## Quick comparison context If you already own a single filter or are limited on budget, you might opt for a standalone ND or CPL first, rather than a full three‑pack. Conversely, if you value readiness and a bundled solution for travel or on‑the‑go shoots, this set provides a convenient, space‑saving option that reduces the risk of forgetting accessories. ## Is it worth it? ### Is it worth it? It makes sense if you want a practical, all‑in‑one filter kit for 58mm lenses, with protective storage and the flexibility of ND, polarisation and UV protection. If you’re not sure you’ll use all three filters regularly, or you foresee buying separate filters with different thread sizes, you may want to re‑assess. ## FAQ - Do I need 62mm caps for all filters? Not for the UV and CPL, but the ND element has a 62mm front thread, so you’d use 62mm caps/hoods for that piece. - Will this kit work with all 58mm lenses? It’s designed for 58mm filter threads, always verify your lens thread size before purchase. - Can the ND filter affect image quality? The kit uses multicoated glass intended to minimise glare and maintain contrast, but as with any screw‑in filter, there can be some impact at extreme stops or wide angles. ## Final thoughts For creators who want a compact, ready‑to‑go filter kit with three essential tools, this NEEWER set offers tangible value in terms of coverage and protection. If you expect to rely on a single filter most days, you might prefer prioritising one option first, then expanding later as needed. ## Images ![NEEWER 58mm Variable ND + CPL + UV Filter Kit \(3 Pack\) for 58mm Lenses — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/O4AiXW9MNjylbSeJGalIpicVrWSIB7yVuE0x4bPfUMry1u9HvcybctPXfz8pco5dyPOaYmnWZAV-FcqFwBzxJTpyRyIq0N-UkM2LLJI7cKPZkiWfxqyNrVwzzw.jpg) ![NEEWER 58mm Variable ND + CPL + UV Filter Kit \(3 Pack\) for 58mm Lenses — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/Njqpg2tXowc0ZUleEItZdyC8ggxqK2y-MkHH3K2G3ME7ckBMmRq0Ju0m8IDdkIAqaCtJiQWCgdE7tSY72jPXEimH0sP1LYQ-NSA-86znOL_ii5WY9DloO07QPg.jpg) ![NEEWER 58mm Variable ND + CPL + UV Filter Kit \(3 Pack\) for 58mm Lenses — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/tpU1vD03CoJ7HdvqecOsEOO4ZdXWKgX0pteutjYwDl1wsl0MUFw5fTl-VsLXRKXy67TC2Pjn_OW9tL2AGHYG49-hstmA5VsAMsyglwknXTcEQnbT_nAMlZ-RNQ.jpg) ![NEEWER 58mm Variable ND + CPL + UV Filter Kit \(3 Pack\) for 58mm Lenses — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/ycRukL9hxFXUwoZWJcqxVF9L9xcCfKt0dV1w298BMvpmwtFowyGA95KwPlsWhZwi2es-9HQJ8TJZqcAXlkxug9ULnArob6W9f3g-Jgr4bX4GnV8UKQmpvG7yxA.jpg) ![NEEWER 58mm Variable ND + CPL + UV Filter Kit \(3 Pack\) for 58mm Lenses — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/4nd85zKanCk67zSu656Da5nzZMNTctCXQ0hQ7dXqNUeH4CRt3PzDKn9tHSnxAFvmc3L3goqKwvtXRxX5_ImBWdfR12k20Sj9_fkSbYB4SScpB8XZkf7L_cjGUQ.jpg)
