## Description

This set of silicone pots makes batch cooking and portioning for infants straightforward and mess free. The Moonkie six-pack of 120 ml baby food storage containers combines reusable, food-grade silicone with airtight lids so you can freeze, heat and serve purees or snacks with minimal fuss.

## Key Points

These containers are made from 100% food-grade silicone and are described by the manufacturer as free from fillers and harmful materials. Each pot holds 120 ml (4 oz) and includes measurement markings and daycare-friendly labels to help track portions and contents. The lids feature a double seal and a steam vent, intended to reduce leaks and allow microwave reheating when vented. According to the product information they are safe between -4°F and 428°F, which covers typical freezer and microwave use.

## Technical Specifications

- **Name: Moonkie Silicone Baby Food Storage Containers, 6 Pack**
- Capacity: 120 ml (4 oz) per pot
- Material: 100% food-grade silicone
- Temperature range: -4°F to 428°F
- Care: Microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe
- Closure: Double seal lids with steam vent

## Benefits

The soft, unbreakable silicone construction makes these pots resistant to cracking or shattering in comparison to glass alternatives, and they retain shape in both the freezer and dishwasher. Lightweight and stackable, they help save space in the kitchen and are practical for preparing multiple servings in advance. The measurement marks and included labels simplify portion control and meal rotation, which can be handy when introducing solids and tracking what your child has eaten.

## Usage Recommendations

For microwave reheating open the steam vent to avoid splatter and check the temperature of the food before feeding. The containers are suitable for freezing purees and expressed milk; however, consider leaving a small headspace when freezing liquids to allow for expansion. Colours may help encourage toddlers to choose their own pots, and the pots can also be used as snack containers for older children when purees are no longer needed. Consider that flexible silicone can be trickier to scoop from than rigid containers for some thicker foods.
