## Description

## What matters most
The Moleskine Classic Notebook in Myrtle Green is a compact, hard-covered notebook designed for everyday jotting, planning and simple note-taking on the move. It offers plain pages for sketching, free-form writing and quick diagrams, making it a versatile companion for ideas that don’t fit into ruled layouts. On the outside you get the familiar durable build and restrained design that many users value for daily carry.

## What’s inside and how it’s built
This pocket notebook measures 9 x 14 cm and contains 192 pages of ivory-coloured, acid-free paper at 70 g/m². The plain layout is ideal when you want to write, sketch or collage without constraints. The hard cover provides a stable writing surface, while the elastic closure keeps the notebook neat in a bag or pocket. A bookmark helps you recover your place without fuss, and a back pocket gives space for loose notes or receipts. The notebook opens flat to 180°, which makes writing across the page feel natural and helps you use the full sheet.

## Practical features that matter in daily use
The back pocket is handy for business cards, receipts or stray scraps—useful for students or professionals who like to keep things together. The paper is acid-free, which contributes to longevity and reduces the risk of yellowing over time. The plain pages suit artists and writers who prefer freehand layouts rather than lined text. The 192-page count strikes a balance between bulk and practicality for daily carry.

## What it’s best for
If you prioritise flexibility over structure, this plain-page notebook is well suited to quick sketches, brainstorming sessions, meeting notes, or diarising ideas without the constraint of ruled lines. It’s a sensible pick for note-takers who value durable construction and a compact footprint for bags or pockets.

## What might not be perfect
It isn’t the best fit if you rely on ruled pages for legibility or if you need a larger format for more expansive drafting. The plain pages may require more careful handwriting or a different approach to layout if you’re jotting quick notes in low-light situations or prefer margins to guide writing. If you frequently need extensive page capacity in a single notebook, 192 pages could feel limiting over the long term.

## How to decide before you buy
- Consider whether you want a compact, hard-covered notebook you can carry easily, with a resilient closure and a back pocket for small items.
- If you value plain pages for sketches or freehand notes, this model fits well.
- Check how often you’ll fill a notebook, if you tend to write heavily every day, you may need a larger or more feature-rich option later.
- Ensure your writing tools suit ivory 70 g/m² paper, as some inks may feather on plain paper.

## Practical use example
Imagine you’re on a train, sketching a quick layout for a project or capturing spontaneous ideas without forcing them into lines. The notebook’s flat open design helps you see more of the page at once, while the elastic closure keeps the cover clean when stashed in a bag. The bookmark means you can jump back to yesterday’s rough layout in seconds.

## FAQ (quick answers)
- Is it easy to carry daily? Yes, its pocket size and hard cover make it convenient for everyday carry.
- Are the pages suitable for pen ink? The plain ivory paper is 70 g/m², most common pens will write well, though ink shading varies by nib and ink type.
- Does it lay flat when writing? Yes, it opens to 180°, which helps you use the full page.

## Final verdict
Is it worth it? Worth considering if you want a compact, durable notebook for freeform writing and sketches, with sensible extras like a back pocket and a neat closure. It suits creators and professionals who value portability and a classic look more than specialised page layouts. If you prefer ruled pages or need a larger notebook for longer projects, explore other options.
