## Description

## What matters most
These MLOQI brackets are heavy‑duty, L‑shaped wall supports with a lip to lock shelves in place. Made from solid steel at 5 mm thick, they’re designed to minimise sag and bounce when properly mounted. The 9" x 6" (22.5 cm x 15 cm) footprint strikes a balance between visible stability and practical shelf space, aiming to suit open‑shelf setups in kitchens, bathrooms, bars, offices or living spaces.

## Technical overview
Each bracket is formed as a single piece and checked for a precise 90‑degree angle. A black powder coat helps resist rust and scratches, keeping the appearance consistent in daily use. The built‑in lip is a small but useful feature that helps prevent shelves from slipping, which can boost confidence when loading heavier items.

## Why it’s worth considering
If you prioritise durability and straightforward installation, these brackets offer a practical solution for creating open, industrial‑style shelving. The 0.2" (5 mm) steel construction plus a lip means you’re not relying on decorative hardware alone, the design aims to provide steady support for heavier loads when fixed into appropriate studs or solid wall material.

## What you’ll notice in use
For everyday kitchen or workshop storage, you’ll appreciate the clean, uniform look and the open shelf concept. The lip helps keep boards aligned, which is helpful if you’re practising a rustic or modern industrial vibe. It’s worth noting that the actual load capacity depends on wall type, fixing quality and how well the brackets are anchored.

## Who this is for
This set targets homeowners and DIYers seeking affordable, sturdy open‑shelf solutions without complex hardware. It suits those who want a modern touch with practical storage in living spaces, gardens, studios or small business environments.

## When it makes sense to buy
Consider these brackets if you’re installing open shelves where quick access matters and you want a visually cohesive finish with a no‑nonsense, robust mounting approach. They’re a sensible pick for creating display shelves or extra storage where a clean, industrial look is desirable.

## When you may want to skip them
If you need ultra‑high weight ratings for floor‑to‑ceiling shelving, or you’re working with walls that require specialised fixings beyond standard screws, you might explore alternatives that advertise higher load capacities or purpose‑built wall anchors.

## What to check before buying
- Confirm wall material and stud location to achieve the stated weight capacity.
- Ensure you have appropriate fixings for your wall type, as load depends on secure mounting.
- Consider the visual impact of black industrial brackets in your space and whether a lip‑lock is essential for your shelves.

## Practical usage example
Imagine a kitchen with open shelves displaying jars and cookware. Mounting these brackets on studs allows a 45–75 kg total shelf load when evenly distributed. The lip helps keep the shelf boards aligned, reducing shifting during daily use.

## Tech specs
- Thickness: 5 mm steel
- Finish: Black powder coated
- Size: 9" x 6" (22.5 cm x 15 cm)
- Load guidance: 45–75 kg when properly mounted
- Pack size: 4 brackets with screws included

## FAQ
- Do the screws come with the brackets? Yes, screws are included in the package.
- Will these brackets rust over time? The finish is powder coated to resist rust and scratches, but durability also depends on wall environment and mounting quality.
- Can I use these for very heavy loads? They’re designed for general heavy‑duty use, but actual capacity depends on wall material and secure fixing, for very heavy or uneven loads, verify wall support before installation.

## Final verdict
Is it worth it? Worth considering if you want sturdy, affordable open shelving with a utilitarian, industrial look and a lip to help keep boards in place. Suitable for spaces where practical storage and straightforward installation matter. Not the best choice if you require minimum wall penetration or are dealing with walls that need specialised anchors. A good middle‑ground option for practical, everyday shelving needs.
