This MidWest Homes for Pets Medium Dog Crate Cover is a polyester privacy cover made to fit most 76cm crates, aiming to create a calmer, den-like environment. ## The essentials This cover is sized to fit most 76cm metal dog crates, with measurements listed as approximately 76.2cm x 48.3cm x 53.3cm. It’s described as designed for specific models (including iCrate 1530 and 1530DD, and New World B30 and B30DD), while also claiming to fit most standard 76cm metal crates—so in practice it’s the “measure first” kind of purchase. The main idea is privacy and security. On paper, that can help reduce anxious behaviours such as barking and chewing, which are common when a dog feels exposed or overstimulated. It’s not a miracle solution, of course, but if your dog tends to react to people passing by or to visual distractions, the concept makes sense. ## What it’s for (and what it does well) You’re essentially adding a den-like privacy layer around the crate. The cover is made from lightweight 100% polyester, and it uses hook-and-loop tabs to keep it in place. The material is also described as breathable, which matters because some “fully closed” setups can feel stuffy. A practical detail is the door access. The cover is compatible with single, double and triple door crates, with flaps that lift for adjustable visibility and ventilation. That’s useful if you’re trying to balance calm with the ability to monitor your dog or give them short check-ins. ## The not-so-convincing bit to consider No product is perfect for every crate. The biggest limitation here is that it does not accommodate top-door crates, according to the description. So if your setup opens from the top, this may frustrate you rather than help. Also, since the listing is a cover only, you’ll need your crate (and any bedding) separately. That’s fine, but it’s worth double-checking before you assume this is a complete kennel solution. ## Coverage, fit and airflow in everyday use The cover is intended to sit securely around the crate using the hook-and-loop tabs, while still allowing airflow. That combination is the difference between “creates privacy” and “turns the crate into a sealed box”. For a micro example: imagine placing the crate in a busier room where the dog can see movement through the bars. With a privacy cover fitted, the dog’s view changes immediately. Many owners find that the dog settles faster because there’s less to react to—though if chewing is driven by teething, boredom, or inadequate exercise, you may still need to address those causes too. One more buying note: the measurements are given for sizing, so it’s sensible to compare them against your crate’s dimensions before ordering. ## Tech specs (quick scan) - Material: 100% polyester - Colour: Black - Approx. size: 76.2cm x 48.3cm x 53.3cm - Machine wash: Yes (machine washable) - Dryer friendly: Yes (dryer friendly) - Intended coverage: Cover only (crate and bed not included) - Door access: Lift flaps for adjustable visibility/ventilation, works with single/double/triple door crates, does not accommodate top-door crates - Attachment: Hook-and-loop tabs ## Is it worth it? A solid pick if you’ve got a medium 76cm metal dog crate and you want a quick way to make the space feel more private and “den-like”, especially if barking or chewing seems linked to visual distractions. It may not be a great match if your crate has a top-door opening, or if you can’t be bothered to confirm fit against your crate’s dimensions first. You’ll likely get more from it if you’re pairing the cover with sensible crate routines—consistent times, appropriate enrichment, and enough exercise—because a cover can reduce stimulation, but it can’t replace training. ## Mini FAQ ## Will this fit my 76cm crate? It’s sized to fit most 76cm crates, with approx measurements of 76.2cm x 48.3cm x 53.3cm. The listing also mentions specific iCrate and New World models, so if you know your exact crate model, it’s worth matching that listed compatibility. ## Does it work with top-door crates? No. The description says it does not accommodate top-door crates. ## Is the crate cover machine washable? Yes, it’s described as machine washable and dryer friendly for easier cleaning. ## Does it include the crate or the bed? No. This listing is for the crate cover only, the crate and bed are sold separately. ## How does the door access work? It uses flaps that lift for adjustable visibility and ventilation, and it’s compatible with single, double and triple door crates. ## Images ![MidWest Homes for Pets Medium Dog Crate Cover \(76cm\) – Black Polyester Privacy Kennel Cover — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/OJcvnc3Bqri3V0H6W7w9UArb_Kigcy35EH3VQa5gTlNMI521ZXnhoc7Gv74jTq3AkiHBbgtx-VUGv2Hi-4oMf_4xSotmCXpwAJ14gHyEHNkf-qK0zn7Masaz2g.jpg) ![MidWest Homes for Pets Medium Dog Crate Cover \(76cm\) – Black Polyester Privacy Kennel Cover — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/RHH9rC1fbGTFI1ULm--BxLtqSizq4FFy-xebi1P-Fk9VFhWC3WmjZ2NZA0WPNOEBXi3Hw08vIh3z3SiH3ygIkFB-L6rhJXoHFyFwdEnVhkEl8ZA9sAn5529VWw.jpg) ![MidWest Homes for Pets Medium Dog Crate Cover \(76cm\) – Black Polyester Privacy Kennel Cover — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/GqJglCzSxpptYIntsHvd25Qw9Iqlld-bntFErIS_PdTl744yewggoZAqsgHWWzneJStgId5Teb5qwNKYyF1OKJKlW3cI9MY2OUyKKRjcfP7-rtGszRVlzXblNQ.jpg) ![MidWest Homes for Pets Medium Dog Crate Cover \(76cm\) – Black Polyester Privacy Kennel Cover — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/9rN3LLQ1UMvXJ0m7wsQ4gbdHN37eaOSJ06OrVTkwGlWShoY3MV3p6ndf9uj0T90hTiqx1v4EmPgLN30DaZ-aXV_H8xgWyHr5BEFEyk2UV2G2j_DAhGla0U9Q3A.jpg) ![MidWest Homes for Pets Medium Dog Crate Cover \(76cm\) – Black Polyester Privacy Kennel Cover — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/XOJVEY8bjfldYfnEqoZ7Fm2sAjGduFponm6M30E6m2qzB1wLgSqrtY86dwU7gNtFDm8nyQKX5vt9s3Rfzq6af-sSHgn1x8DbkemTYctCfrF71jDpQBgSTmrWBQ.jpg)
