## Description

## Key features
This is a crate cover in black 100% polyester designed to fit most standard 91cm metal crates, including iCrate models and New World variants. It brings a den-like privacy to your dog’s space, which can help reduce barking and chewing by creating a calmer, enclosed environment. The cover uses lightweight fabric with hook-and-loop tabs to keep it secure while still allowing airflow through the door flaps. It’s machine washable and dryer friendly, making maintenance straightforward for busy households. It’s important to note that this is the cover only, the crate and any bedding are sold separately.

## Technical details
Sized to fit most 91cm crates, the cover measures approximately 91.4cm x 58.4cm x 63.5 cm. It’s compatible with single, double, and triple door crates, and the door flaps lift for adjustable visibility and ventilation. The design focuses on breathability and security without requiring tools for installation.

## What you’ll notice day to day
In practice, dogs often respond to the den-like atmosphere by settling more quickly and barking less. The privacy layer can limit visual stimuli and external noise, which may help especially anxious or easily stimulated dogs. If your crate has a top door, this cover won’t alter that layout, so consider your crate style before buying. The cover is not a substitute for crate bedding or enrichment, but it can be a practical addition to support calmer behaviours.

## Care & maintenance
Since the cover is machine washable, you can clean it with regular laundry cycles. Drying is also machine-friendly, which is handy after muddy walks or travel days. To keep fit and airflow, ensure the cover sits securely using the elastic or hook-and-loop fastenings and check that the fabric isn’t overly stretched after washing.

## Who it’s for
This cover is a sensible option if you have a 91cm crate and want a straightforward way to reduce noise and chewing by increasing privacy. It suits households where dogs benefit from a den-like nook and where quick cleaning and ease of use are valued. It’s less ideal if your crate has unusual dimensions beyond standard 91cm or if you rely on top-door configurations that require a different layout.

## What to check before buying
- Confirm your crate type and dimensions match the 91cm sizing listed.
- Remember this is a cover only, you’ll need a compatible crate and a bed separately.
- Consider how much ventilation you need, door flaps lift for visibility, so check access needs for your dog’s routines.
- If your dog is extremely reactive to visual stimuli, a darker, private space can help, but it may not solve all behavioural triggers.

## Alternatives and buying context
If you’re weighing options, think about whether a simple privacy cover aligns with your dog’s needs or if a more feature-rich crate setup would suit better. For dogs that adapt well to open spaces or that require more ventilation, a partial cover or a lighter fabric might feel less confining. In short, this cover represents a practical, low-cost approach to crate privacy and calming effect, without changing the underlying crate or bed.

## Is it worth it?
You’ll like it if you prioritise a quick, practical way to create a calmer crate space and you already use a standard 91cm crate. It may not be the best choice if your dog needs high visibility or if your crate design differs from the standard models listed. Overall, it leans toward a sensible, value-for-money improvement rather than a dramatic behavioural fix, and it’s easy to maintain in day-to-day use.

## Quick FAQ
