## Description

This compact emergency hand crank radio combines multiple power options and built-in lighting to help you stay connected during outages or outdoor trips. It is aimed at users who want an AM/FM radio with torch and reading lamp, and the design includes solar charging, a hand crank and a USB output for phones.

## Key Points

The unit offers five ways to power the device, including a hand crank and a solar panel, which adds versatility when mains power is unavailable. A bright 3W torch and a six-LED reading lamp are integrated for close-range illumination while camping or during blackouts. The radio includes an SOS alarm and flashing red beacon to signal for help, plus a small compass and a nylon wrist strap for easier carrying outdoors. 📡🌞

## Benefits

Because it has multiple charging methods, the radio reduces reliance on disposable batteries and gives peace of mind in prolonged emergencies. The compact form and clip-friendly strap make it straightforward to attach to a backpack or keep in an emergency kit. Reception covers AM 530–1710 kHz and FM 87–108 MHz, and the device can switch to a weather band quickly for local forecasts. The hand crank can maintain operation if the internal battery is depleted, according to the manufacturer. 🔦

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Mesqool Wind Up Radio**
- Battery capacity: **5000 mAh**
- Radio bands: AM 530–1710 kHz, FM 87–108 MHz
- Lighting: 3W torch, 6 LED reading lamp

## Usage Recommendations

For routine use, leave the internal battery charged by micro USB when convenient and rely on solar or the crank during outdoor stays. Use the reading lamp folded out for map reading or book light and switch to the main torch for path illumination. Consider that the compass is a basic orientation aid rather than a precision navigation instrument, and the radio performance may vary with terrain and local interference.
