## Description

## The essentials
If you’re trying to bring a bit more order to paperwork, suspension files can be one of those tools that just makes day-to-day filing easier. The MerryNine 15-piece set is designed for A4 filing setups, with tab-style structure and card inserts so you can label what each section is for.

What matters here is less about the colour and more about fit. These are only applicable to A4 suspension files and A4 filing cabinets, and the fit depends on the rail spacing in your cabinet. If you’ve ever bought storage that “looks right” but doesn’t sit correctly, you’ll know why it’s worth checking before you commit.

## Key takeaways
This set is built around three practical promises: it’s meant to slot neatly into an A4 suspension system, the dividers are made from lightweight polypropylene (so they’re intended to be durable without feeling bulky), and each folder is designed to hold a decent stack of A4 pages.

There’s also a clear organisation angle. With multiple colours and labels (plus transparent label holders), it’s aimed at reducing the “where did I put that?” problem—whether you’re sorting for school, home admin, or an office workload.

That said, it’s not perfect if your cabinet’s rail spacing doesn’t match the guidance. On paper, it offers a workable range, but if you’re outside it, you may find the hang mechanism doesn’t behave as you’d like.

## What stands out in everyday use
In normal use, suspension files shine because they keep documents accessible while still off your desk. With the wide opening design, you’re not fighting tight access every time you need to pull a sheet, check a form, or move papers between sections.

A small example: imagine you’re sorting term-time paperwork or ongoing work documents. You can assign each colour to a category (e.g. school correspondence vs. completed forms), then use the label cards to update titles quickly when deadlines shift.

The set includes 15 A4 suspension folders in five colours (black, white, blue, green, purple). The labels are white, and there are transparent supports for labels, so the information you write should stay visible and reasonably protected.

## What to know before you buy
Before anything else, measure. The manufacturer states that you should measure the size you need before purchase, and that it only applies to A4 files or A4 cabinets.

The key measurement is the “file distance” between your cabinet’s two rails, with the recommended placement being preferably 330 mm (defined as the distance from rail centre to rail centre). There’s also a stated adjustment range: from 320 mm to 335 mm.

If your rail spacing is meaningfully different, the folders might not hang correctly, and you could end up with a system that feels fiddly rather than helpful.

## Who it suits, and who should skip it
It’s a solid pick if you already have (or plan to use) an A4 suspension filing cabinet and you want colour-based organisation with label inserts. It’s also practical for people handling lots of paper but not necessarily wanting to move up to a more complex filing setup.

It might not suit you if you need something that fits non-standard cabinet rails, or if you’re filing something other than A4. Also, if you’re expecting folders designed to work across different formats, it’s worth knowing this is specifically positioned around A4.

## Final verdict
Worth considering if you’ve got an A4 suspension filing cabinet and you want a straightforward, label-friendly way to organise paperwork at home or in the office. The polypropylene design and the tab + card insert approach suggest it’s aimed at everyday practicality rather than anything fancy.

Buy it if your cabinet rail distance is within the stated guidance (roughly 320 mm to 335 mm, with 330 mm preferred). Skip it if your cabinet doesn’t match A4 suspension spacing, because that’s the sort of mismatch that turns “organisation” into frustration.
