## Description

This compact MERONTE air purifier helps reduce smoke, pet dander and household odours while offering a low-noise operation and a small footprint for bedrooms or home offices. It includes an aromatherapy sponge for light fragrance and has a sleep mode that keeps sound levels down for overnight use.

## Key Points

The unit is designed for 360-degree air intake and offers two fan speeds, labelled 1F and 2F, so you can adjust airflow depending on the room and pollutant levels. Noise is quoted at around 22 dB in sleep mode according to the manufacturer, making it suitable for light sleepers. There is a dedicated aromatherapy pad on the top where you can add a few drops of essential oil to freshen the space naturally. The purifier is supplied with an adapter that fits inside the filter to maintain correct installation and performance.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **MERONTE MR2566**
- Colour: White
- Modes: 3 modes including Sleep mode
- Noise level: 22 dB (sleep mode, according to the manufacturer)
- Air intake: 360-degree design

## Benefits

This MERONTE model offers quieter running than many compact purifiers, which helps when using it overnight in a bedroom. The ability to add essential oils gives a mild fragrancing option without introducing a separate diffuser. Two adjustable fan speeds assist with tailoring clean-air delivery to different situations, for example higher speed during cooking or smoke exposure and lower speed for resting hours. An independent testing claim is noted by the manufacturer, which can provide added reassurance about performance.

## Usage Recommendations

Position the purifier on a table or bedside surface clear of obstructions to allow the 360-degree intake to work effectively. For light scenting, place 4–5 drops of essential oil on the aromatherapy sponge and replace or clean the pad as needed to avoid residue. Consider using the higher fan speed briefly after activities that produce particulates, such as smoking or pet grooming, and switch to sleep mode during the night to keep noise to a minimum. Note that the device is compact, so room coverage will vary with room size and pollutant levels; it may not be suitable as the sole unit for very large open-plan areas.
