## Description

This lightweight-to-heavyweight Merino base layer set offers temperature regulation and natural odour resistance for outdoor activities and daily wear. The Merino wool top and long johns come in several fabric weights so you can choose lighter layers for high-intensity days or heavier knit for cold, slow-paced conditions, keeping you comfortable across seasons.

## Key Points

The set balances breathability with thermal control, making it useful for hiking, commuting or layered winter use. The fabric is superfine merino wool with a fibre diameter around 18.5 microns, which aims to reduce itch and improve next-to-skin comfort. 🧭

Merino wool naturally wicks moisture and helps prevent odour build-up during extended wear, so you stay drier and fresher according to the material properties. The pack option that includes merino hiking socks adds value for outdoor use, offering coordinated insulation from head to toe. 🧦

Consider that heavier fabrics will feel warmer and are better for low activity cold days, while the lightweight variant is more suited to aerobic pursuits. For longevity, hand washing and flat drying are recommended by the manufacturer to preserve fit and performance.

## Technical Specifications

## Usage Recommendations

Wear the lighter 165 g/m² option for running or high-effort mountaineering where rapid moisture transfer is needed. The midweight 250 g/m² is suitable for multi-day hikes or daily winter use when you need a balance between warmth and mobility. For low-activity cold weather such as campsite evenings or long periods outdoors, the 320 g/m² heavyweight provides additional insulation.

Layer over a windproof or waterproof outer when conditions are wet or windy, because merino itself is not fully water resistant. Also be aware that, like all natural fibres, merino can shrink if washed in hot water or tumble dried. For best results follow care instructions and dry garments flat to retain shape and thermal performance.
