Crafted with a 30D high-density foam core, the steps aim to provide stable support while remaining comfortable for daily use. ## Why it might matter If your pet is older, recovering from an injury, or simply less inclined to leaps, this two-step design can reduce joint strain and make climb‑ups more predictable. The gentle knee-friendly gradient further supports pets that struggle with steeper rises, potentially easing anxiety during transitions to higher surfaces. ## How it stands out on paper The cover is corduroy and double‑sided to increase grip, while the base includes anti‑slip measures to minimise wobble and keep the ramp steady. A waterproof outer layer helps the fabric resist spills, and the cover is machine washable—though the foam itself should not be laundered. The product ships vacuum-packed and expands after opening, with a straightforward zip for quick assembly. ## What’s good about it - 30D high-density foam offers resilience and shape retention for repeated use. - Double‑sided anti-slip cover plus base grips enhance stability. - Waterproof design protects the inner foam and prolongs life, with easy cleaning of the cover. - Lightweight and with a side carry handle, it’s practical for car trips and everyday home use. - 55x40x30 cm dimensions suit many sofas and beds while remaining compact. ## Potential limitations - The foam should not be washed, only the cover is machine washable, so some maintenance is required if the foam gets dirty. - The two-step design may not be tall enough for very tall sofas or beds, for higher surfaces you may need a larger model. - Expansion time after unpacking can be 24–48 hours, so immediate use isn’t possible. ## Who this is for - Small dogs and cats needing assisted access to furniture. - Older or recovering pets who benefit from a gradual incline rather than lifting or jumping. - Homes where easy cleaning and travel-friendly design matter, thanks to the removable cover and light weight. ## Who it isn’t ideal for - If you require a higher rise or more steps, a larger stair system might be a better fit. - If you need the foam to be washable, this model relies on a washable cover rather than the foam itself. ## When it makes sense to buy - You want a pragmatic, low-effort way to reduce jumping and joint strain for smaller pets. - You value a waterproof cover and straightforward cleaning routine. - Portability and quick setup are priorities, for example when travelling with a pet. ## What to check before buying - Measure your sofa height and confirm the 55x40x30 cm footprint will fit without obstructing room flow. - Consider your pet’s mobility, the 2-step gradient is friendly for many small to medium pets but not a tall barrier. - Review whether you prefer a fully washable external cover and the caveat about not washing the foam. ## Practical use example Imagine your terrier hops onto the sofa after a long walk, guided by a soft, supportive surface that doesn’t squeak or slip. The grip on the cover helps him steady himself as he climbs, and the waterproof fabric means a quick wipe-down after a drizzly outdoor excursion is enough to keep it looking tidy. ## FAQ - Can I wash the foam? No, only the cover is machine washable, the foam should not be submerged. - Does it come fully expanded? It ships vacuum-packed and requires 24–48 hours to expand fully after opening. - Is it suitable for very small kittens or senior cats? The gentle incline and compact size make it reasonable for small pets and older animals, though individual mobility varies. ## Final verdict Final verdict: For households with small dogs or cats that need a safer, lower‑impact route to furniture, this Masthome model offers practical value with its waterproof, grip‑focused design and lightweight, portable form. It may not be the best option if you need a higher ascent or a fully washable foam core, but it stands out for everyday comfort and ease of use in a non‑fussy, budget‑minded setup. ## Images ![Masthome 2-Step Sofa Dog Steps: Waterproof, Non-Slip Ramp with Removable Cover — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/GMgGV9ItpTK2dQAJieqxDW1WoCdUxhLHI_1R_9Me_YSgkZWwBzsj_IHt6i1uFS-iIvfV801kTTIkhyDMq_CfcKeQgCKpcU5Sv-xlZTJCBePvzDB1tYSxCSMnJQ.jpg) ![Masthome 2-Step Sofa Dog Steps: Waterproof, Non-Slip Ramp with Removable Cover — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/zFeNubVuhvBbI_A-F_speJ2E6_QUa22jxE1Vzn4pQqC9D0VMgz0-Sai6Vxx_T7Rp-o_4uwSY2yNar0Ng2JqNA_oto8weSBkCrf7CkhdocU-CdrVqyPCO2PcoZQ.jpg) ![Masthome 2-Step Sofa Dog Steps: Waterproof, Non-Slip Ramp with Removable Cover — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/-gCPveflhNHTFlxlvrA36Y2han2IbPP2FEzdtRaEweU_Q5weEDqfB2hDTtSzeNgAPWChrAr4p6g-MuWlqkVq5Qi6gcrWIzRJQ-HXiY49ede1qjY62D7-UF23gQ.jpg) ![Masthome 2-Step Sofa Dog Steps: Waterproof, Non-Slip Ramp with Removable Cover — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/5Vyb8R88FfOVVh3WNXGOshE1iGLrZfErd0SkBdwrlyUycQDgbP6xfyJzy0nrDXaOPA4tET9pf6qn16qGx-Wq8qSAcx7d_RH4mzGTUTfoKB6SqxIDkeYH5Kq_mw.jpg) ![Masthome 2-Step Sofa Dog Steps: Waterproof, Non-Slip Ramp with Removable Cover — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/lsJMKJzlVYtWhYy9pWpwX2ELxBBw0hozta2WiFhWRz83njl2Cb4P0KrhaYbrFotpK9dg3tmWTZesbbzHke5AKoB5JdH2gB8xy4zAvFnvaRM8T3FZU_wt-NBrhw.jpg)
