## Description

A resettable four-digit combination gives keyless access, so keys can be shared without arranging a handover. The Master Lock Medium Outdoor key safe is designed for wall mounting and has space for multiple keys or access cards.

Its shutter door covers the combination dials to protect them from the weather, making the safe suitable for outdoor as well as indoor use. A mounting kit is included for installation on a wall or another fixed object.

For a home with regular visitors, it offers a practical alternative to passing around spare keys. It can also help when you simply want a fixed place to store a set of keys for authorised access.

## What matters most

The four-digit combination can be set and reset, with thousands of personalised code options. That makes it possible to choose a code for your access arrangements and change it when needed, without relying on a key to open the safe itself. The large internal cavity is designed to hold multiple keys, while also accommodating access cards.

Its medium format keeps the storage purpose focused: a secure place for everyday access items rather than a general storage box. External dimensions are 11.9 x 8.5 x 3.6cm, with an internal space measuring 9.2 x 6.4 x 3cm. The metal body is made for durability, and the shutter door helps shield the dials from weather when the safe is mounted outside.

## Who it’s for

This key safe suits households that need to share access with family or housemates, as well as home workers and caretakers who need a way to collect a key. It is also useful for holiday lets and other home rentals, where guests may need access without a direct key handover. The combination system supports shared access, while the fixed mounting gives the keys a designated location.

If your main need is to keep a single key close at hand, a portable key ring may be simpler. This wall-mounted format is aimed at planned access for several people, with room for multiple keys or an access card.

## Getting the most from it

Choose a suitable wall or other fixed object and use the included mounting kit to install the safe. Set a four-digit combination that can be shared with the people who need access, then reset it when your arrangements change. When mounted outdoors, close the shutter over the dials after use to help protect them from the weather.

For a rental or a busy household, the safe can provide a consistent collection point: an authorised visitor can retrieve the key when needed, while the owner can manage access by updating the combination. Keeping the stored keys together also makes it easier to provide access to more than one door where multiple keys are required.

## Buying verdict

The Master Lock Medium Outdoor key safe is a practical choice for people who need to share keys without arranging every handover in person. Its resettable four-digit combination, space for multiple keys or access cards, and wall-mounting kit make it well suited to home, caretaker and rental access, indoors or outdoors.
