## Description

## The essentials
If you regularly hear “are we nearly there?” from the back seat, a headrest tablet mount is one of those small upgrades that can actually change the drive. The Marjoramy Car Headrest Tablet Holder is designed to let passengers watch, read or play on a tablet mounted to the headrest, rather than balancing it on laps or fiddling with temporary stands.

On paper, the key idea here is flexibility: it uses a 360° swivel with the ability to switch between horizontal and vertical viewing, plus a stable extension arm that can be pulled out or pushed back to alter viewing distance. Installation is meant to be tool-free, and there’s a silicone anti-slip pad in the slot to help hold the tablet securely.

## Key features that affect day-to-day use
The most noticeable practical benefit is the 360° ball swivel. In real life terms, that means you can nudge the tablet until the screen works for whoever’s sitting behind—whether they’re watching a series, using navigation, or reading something that needs a steadier, portrait-style view.

You also get that extension arm adjustment. If your tablet is feeling too close (or too far), you’re not stuck with one fixed position. Being able to retract or extend the arm should help you find a comfortable sightline without moving the whole mount.

For safety and surface protection, the areas in contact with the tablet mount are padded with silicone to reduce slipping and help protect what it rests on from scratches. It’s a small detail, but it’s the kind of thing that makes a mount feel more “thought through” than a basic clip.

## What matters most for fit and installation
This is a universal headrest mount, but “universal” still depends on your car. It’s stated as suitable for headrest rods with a width between 10.1 cm/3.98 inches and 14.1 cm/5.55 inches, and the install is described as tool-free.

There’s also a silicone anti-slip pad in the tablet slot for secure placement. That said, the one limitation to keep in mind is that compatibility is ultimately determined by your headrest rod size and spacing. If your headrest setup doesn’t fall within that stated range, the mount may not clamp properly.

## Tech specs (quick reference)
- 360° swivel for multiple viewing angles

- Extension arm with pull-out/retract adjustment for viewing distance
- Tool-free installation
- Silicone anti-slip pads in contact areas
- Compatible tablet size range: 4.7–12.9"
- Compatible headrest rod width: 10.1 cm/3.98 inches to 14.1 cm/5.55 inches

## Where it shines—and where it may fall short
This mount is especially sensible for road trips and family use. If you’re planning long drives, it’s built for back-seat entertainment: watching programmes, playing games, listening to music, or reading e-books without relying on hand-held devices.

It’s not perfect, though. Because it’s a headrest-mounted setup, your screen position still depends on the rear seat layout and the angle you can achieve in your particular car. If you want a perfectly stable, front-seat-like viewing experience at all times, this may feel like a compromise compared with more rigid dashboard or purpose-built solutions.

Also, while it’s designed to protect against slipping with silicone pads, you’ll still want to ensure the tablet is seated properly in the slot before setting off—especially if you’re driving on uneven roads.

## Should you buy it?
It’s worth considering if you want an easy, tool-free way to keep a tablet within easy reach for rear passengers, and you like the idea of adjusting both the viewing angle (360° swivel) and the distance (extension arm). The stated tablet range (4.7–12.9") makes it a practical choice for many common sizes.

You may want to skip it if your car’s headrest rods don’t match the given width range, or if you find headrest mounting fiddly in your particular seating arrangement. It might not be a great match if your priority is a totally motion-proof, fixed viewing position with no need for occasional adjustment.

If your typical trips are short, occasional drives, or you don’t want to mount anything to the headrest at all, a simpler in-car setup could suit you better. But for families who genuinely use the back seat for entertainment, this one’s concept aligns well with the job.

## Mini FAQ
## Can you rotate the tablet for portrait and landscape?
Yes. The mount includes a 360° swivel and is described as allowing instant switching between horizontal and vertical modes.

## Does it need tools to install?
The description says it can be installed without tools.

## What tablet sizes is it meant to fit?
It’s listed as suitable for tablets in the 4.7–12.9" range.

## Will it fit any car headrest?
It should fit headrests with rod widths between 10.1 cm/3.98 inches and 14.1 cm/5.55 inches. If your headrest doesn’t meet that, it may not clamp as intended.

## Is it good for long road trips?
That’s one of its main use cases, designed to keep rear passengers entertained—videos, games, music and reading are all mentioned.
