## Description

## What matters most
MaoNativey’s 3-pack offers long, green artificial aquarium plants designed to soften the look of freshwater tanks while giving fish protected spaces to hide and explore. They’re 25cm tall, bendable, and built to stay put at the tank bottom thanks to weighted ceramic bases, avoiding constant surfacing or floating fuss.

## Tech specs
The plants are made from non-toxic, BPA-free plastic with soft-edged leaves to minimise snagging or injury. The colour is fade-resistant, helping your aquarium keep a natural, vibrant aesthetic over time. Bases are weighted to ensure stability, the plants are designed for easy installation and maintenance, with weekly cleaning to keep the tank looking pristine.

## What stands out
On the page, these plants emphasise a practical balance between appearance and function. The tall leaves mimic a natural underwater forest, creating additional shelter for shy species and reducing stress by simulating habitat complexity. The materials are chosen for durability in freshwater environments and for being safe around fish.

## Usage tips
Position the stems at the tank bottom where they won’t be easily overturned by curious fish. Bend the leaves gently to create varied cover and visual depth. Since they’re plastic, they won’t require light or CO2 like real plants, but a quick weekly wipe will help maintain colour and remove any algae build-up.

## Who it’s for
This set suits beginners and seasoned aquarists alike who want a cost-effective, low-maintenance decor boost. It’s well suited to tropical, goldfish, and betta setups that benefit from additional hiding spots without the upkeep of live plants.

## What to check before buying
Verify that your tank height accommodates 25cm decor and that you’re comfortable with a purely decorative plant solution rather than live flora. Consider whether you prefer fully bendable stems for shaping or more rigid stems for structured layouts. Remember, these plants are designed to rest on the tank bottom with weighted bases, not float.

## Alternatives and context
If you’re weighing options, these artificial plants sit between entry-level decor and mid-range tank scenery: they’re easy to install, durable, and inexpensive relative to live plants, but they won’t offer the same biological benefits. For quick, consistent visual impact with less maintenance, they’re a sensible choice, if you prioritise live plant growth and natural filtration, you might look elsewhere.

## Is it worth it?
This set makes sense if you want a stress-relieving visual upgrade and extra hiding places without the complexity of live plants. It may not be the best fit if you’re aiming for true botanical growth or if you need plant varieties that grow with your tank.

## FAQ
- Do these plants float or stay submerged? They stay weighted at the bottom and do not float.
- Are the leaves flexible enough to shape around tank features? Yes, the stems are bendable to help you create natural-looking layouts.
- How often should I clean them? A quick weekly wipe or rinse is sufficient to maintain colour and hygiene.
