Luggex TSA-Approved Suitcase Locks, Charcoal, 4-Pack with Flexible Cables

Some travellers want a lock that adds as little weight as possible, others need one that threads easily through several zip pulls. These Luggex TSA-approved suitcase locks combine a lightweight ABS body with a flexible cable. Their keyless three-digit combination is designed for quick, straightforward access while travelling.

Tips for day-to-day use

Set your three-digit code using the reset design, then enter it and press the side button to open the lock. There is no key to keep track of, and the one-touch release avoids the need to pull or twist a rigid shackle. Clear, high-contrast numbers make the dials easier to read when setting or entering your combination, including in low light.

Thread the flexible cable through the zip pulls you want to secure. Its flexibility makes it practical for luggage with more than one zip pull, and it can also be used on backpacks and gym or school lockers. At under 1 oz each, the locks add little weight to a travel bag, making them easy to pack for regular trips as well as occasional journeys.

Why it makes sense

The cable design offers a different approach from a rigid-shackle lock: it is easier to thread through zip pulls and can secure multiple pulls at once. That can be useful when you want to keep a suitcase’s zipped compartments together, or when the fastening point is awkward to reach. The TSA-approved designation and combination opening make the locks suited to luggage travel, while the keyless setup keeps everyday access simple.

Each lock has an ABS body and a three-digit combination. The charcoal colour gives the set a discreet look, and the lightweight format helps avoid adding unnecessary bulk to packed bags. Beyond suitcases, the same cable-and-combination design is suitable for backpacks and gym or school lockers, so the locks can serve more than one routine.

Worth noting

The combination is resettable, so you can choose a code rather than relying on a key. Use the reset design to change it, and make sure you can recall the new code before securing your luggage. The flexible cable is particularly useful when fastening more than one zip pull, for a single fastening point, the choice between cable and rigid-shackle styles comes down to which shape is easier to thread through your bag.

The locks are supplied in gift-ready packaging, making the set a practical present for someone who travels or needs a simple way to secure a locker. For a typical journey, thread the cable through the suitcase zip pulls before setting off, then use the combination and side button when you need access at your destination.

Before you decide

Does the lock need a key? No. It uses a three-digit combination, and the side button opens it once the correct code has been entered.

How do you change the combination? Use the built-in reset design to reset the three-digit code. The clear, high-contrast dials help when setting or reading the numbers.

Can it be used somewhere other than a suitcase? Yes. The locks are also suitable for backpacks and gym or school lockers, as well as luggage.

When it makes sense

It’s a good fit if you want lightweight, keyless locks for travel and value a cable that can pass through multiple zip pulls. With an ABS body, resettable three-digit combination and uses beyond suitcases, this charcoal set suits everyday journeys and locker use alike.
