Lorrtta LED head torch 1200LM
Product description
A rechargeable head torch is the easiest way to keep both hands free, whether you are camping, running at dusk, or doing night work around the house. The Lorrtta LED Head Torch Rechargeable is built around high brightness, a wide-angle beam, and simple motion sensor control, so you can switch lighting on and off without reaching for buttons. With USB-C charging, multiple lighting modes, and an IPX4 splash resistant rating, it is a practical option for everyday carry and outdoor use.
What matters most
This head torch brings bright, hands-free illumination together in one lightweight design. It claims up to 1200 lumens for the main COB LED light and includes a 230° wide angle illumination area, which helps when you need visibility across your immediate path. There is also an additional side XPE LED flashlight, which the manufacturer describes as better suited for more focused lighting over longer distances. For control, it offers motion sensor operation, so you can bring your hand close to the sensor to turn the light on or off.
The motion sensor feature is especially useful when your hands are busy, gloved, or just not convenient to touch the device. It can also be helpful during outdoor activities and in emergency situations where you want quick, simple lighting control. You still get flexibility with five lighting modes, including different output levels for both the main light and the side light, plus a flash mode.
For charging and day to day convenience, the torch uses a built-in 1200 mAh battery with USB-C input. The manufacturer states it takes 3.5 hours to charge and can provide up to 12 hours of continuous use, depending on the selected brightness level. That mix of rechargeable power and multiple output levels makes it easier to match runtime to the task you are doing. 🔦
Key features
Lorrtta LED Head Torch Rechargeable focuses on flexible illumination and straightforward control. The main COB LED is paired with a silicone headband, and the wide-angle beam is intended to cover more of what is in front of you, rather than only a narrow spot. If you prefer a tighter beam for distance, the side XPE LED flashlight adds that more focused option. Having both beam types can help you adapt from close-up tasks to longer visibility needs.
This model includes five lighting modes, with options described by the manufacturer as 100% and 40% for the LED headlamp, 100% and 40% for the side flashlight, plus a flash mode. That gives you more than a single brightness setting, which can matter when you want lower light to preserve battery or avoid glare. It is also useful for different environments, such as running, walking on uneven ground, or setting up camp.
The design is intended to be comfortable for longer wear, with a stated weight of 130 grams. It uses durable ABS material paired with a soft silicone headband, and the adjustable strap can be flexibly adjusted for different head sizes to help keep it stable. The motion sensor approach reduces the need for repeated manual tapping, which can feel awkward when you are moving or wearing gloves. ✅
Safety and durability features are included, with an IPX4 waterproof rating for splash resistance. The manufacturer also describes it as drop-resistant, so it should continue working normally if it is accidentally dropped or knocked. For many users, that combination matters because outdoor lighting is often exposed to damp conditions and rough handling. 🏕️

What’s the best fit for you
It’s a good fit if you want a lightweight rechargeable head torch with hands-free motion sensor control and multiple brightness options. It suits activities where you need reliable front lighting while keeping both hands free, such as camping setup, evening walks, running at night, or general night work around the home. The wide-angle illumination and the additional side flashlight make it easier to handle different viewing distances during the same outing.
It may not be a great match if you prefer a simple single-mode torch with only manual operation, since the motion sensor and multiple settings add more control options than some people need. It may also not suit you if you need a high level of immersion protection beyond splash resistance, because the rating provided is IPX4. If you like the idea of USB-C charging and want a balance between runtime and brightness control, this head torch is worth considering for day to day use as well as outdoor evenings.
