## Description

This long training lead gives dogs greater freedom while you keep control during recall and obedience practice, especially useful for tracking, camping and outdoor exercise. The 10m waterproof long line dog lead balances reach and manageability, making it a practical choice for walks in fields and beaches where visibility and durability matter.

## Key Points

The cord is made from polyester and resists wetting, so it does not become heavy in damp conditions. The bright fluorescent orange colour makes the lead easier to spot at a distance and in low light, helping you keep track of an active dog. The padded handle reduces hand strain during pulls and long sessions of training, and the supplied mesh storage bag keeps the lead compact for transport. 🧭🐕🦺

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Looxmeer Training Lead for Dogs**
- Length: **10 m**
- Material: Polyester rope with metal carabiner
- Colour: Orange fluorescent
- Included: Padded handle and mesh storage bag

## Usage Recommendations

For recall training, let the dog explore while maintaining tension control so the line does not tangle. In practice, short controlled tugs and clear vocal commands work well when combined with the extra distance this lead allows. When walking near water or in wet weather, rinse the rope after use to remove surface mud and salt. The padded handle helps protect your hands from friction during extended sessions, though consider gloves for very cold conditions.

## Positive Aspects

The waterproof coating and hexagonal textured surface make the rope slip-resistant even when wet, which keeps the grip predictable and reduces sudden jerks. The metal carabiner secures quickly to a collar or harness and appears solid for medium and larger dogs. The fluorescent orange is a simple safety feature that improves visibility during dusk or in long grass. Note that, according to the manufacturer, the lead is intended as a training tool and is not a substitute for supervised control in high-risk environments.

## Practical Tips

Store the lead dry in the mesh bag after cleaning to help avoid mildew. For tracking work, pair the long line with a harness rather than a collar to spread any pulling force and reduce neck strain. If you frequently train in dense brush, inspect the rope periodically for fraying to maintain safe use.
