## Description

This compact wireless mouse brings reliable everyday control for office and home use. It pairs simple setup with a contoured ambidextrous shape, offering comfort whether you work left or right handed. The main benefit is steady, plug-and-play operation that replaces a touchpad with minimal fuss.

## Key features
The Logitech M185 is built for straightforward use and long life. It connects via a tiny USB nano receiver, giving a near‑corded feel with fast data transmission and virtually no dropouts. According to the manufacturer it can run up to 12 months on a single AA battery, and the scroll wheel is described as durable. Red colour gives a clear visual cue on a busy desk.

## Technical overview
- Name: **Logitech M185 Wireless Mouse**
- Type: Wireless optical mouse
- Battery life: 12 months
- Connectivity: 2.4GHz USB nano receiver
- Resolution: 1000 DPI

## What you’ll notice day to day
Setup is immediate, simply plug the receiver into a USB port and the mouse should work without additional drivers on most systems. The ambidextrous, contoured design is comfortable for long sessions and feels more stable than a laptop touchpad. The M185 keeps things simple rather than offering advanced customisation.

## Compatibility & requirements
The mouse is compatible with Windows and Mac computers and standard laptops, so it will work across devices you may already own. It comes with a single AA battery and the small receiver fits neatly into a USB port without obstructing other devices.

## How to look after it
Keep the receiver safe when transporting a laptop, and replace the AA battery when the pointer response softens. Clean the optical sensor with a soft cloth if tracking seems uneven. Note that upgrade options exist for users wanting extra features beyond basic wireless control.
