## Description

## What it is and who it’s for
The Lionelo Luna 2in1 Bedside Crib is a travel cot and baby zone designed to sit alongside your bed. It makes room-by-room moving practical and keeps your little one within arm’s reach during the newborn stage and into toddler years, as the setup grows with the child. On the page you’ll see it described as a cradle that converts into a larger space, suitable for children up to 15 kg, with a focus on close-to-parent sleep.

## How it works and key features
On paper, Luna offers seven height levels to align with different bed heights, plus an incline option for reflux or congestion relief. The unit rolls on four lockable wheels so you can move it between rooms without waking baby. The sides use breathable mesh for visibility and air flow, and there’s a sizeable storage basket for nappies, wipes and small toys. The mattress cover and fabric are machine washable, which helps with routine cleaning and hygiene.

## What stands out and where it may fall short
On the positive side, the 2‑in‑1 design means you’re getting both a cosy newborn cot and a larger play/sleep space as baby grows. The incline feature is a thoughtful addition for families dealing with reflux or congestion. The portability is practical for busy households, allowing you to keep your baby nearby in different rooms. However, it’s prudent to note that while the base covers up to 15 kg, some users may expect longevity beyond infancy depending on weight and activity. A potential downside is that, as with many travel cots, the footprint and fabric feel may be more mid-range than premium. If you prioritise very long-term use or a premium build, you might want to compare with options that promise heavier weight limits or higher-end materials.

## Who it’s for
It suits new parents seeking a compact, moveable sleeping/settling space that stays close to bed, then transitions to a toddler-friendly area. It should work well for homes where space is shared or where rooms are swapped during the day. If your priority is constant room-to-room mobility with easy access to baby, Luna is worth a closer look.

## Who it isn’t the best option for
If you’re chasing a device that doubles as a high-end cot for several years or requires top-tier materials, this may feel mid-range. It may also fall short for parents who want a higher weight limit or fuss-free, ultra-compact travel gear with a premium feel.

## When it makes sense to buy
Consider Luna when you want a cost-effective, versatile sleep solution that keeps baby close at night and offers a natural growth transition to a larger play zone. The machine-washable components and breathable mesh are practical for busy households and ease daily care.

## What to check before buying
- Confirm compatibility with your bed height and preferred incline necessity for reflux or congestion.
- Consider room layout to ensure there’s a clear path for moving it between spaces.
- Check care routines for the fabric and mattress cover to keep hygiene straightforward.
- Look at the weight and size when folded for storage, especially in smaller living spaces.

## Practical usage example
Imagine you’ve just laid baby down after a feed. You wheel Luna alongside the bed, set the height to match the mattress, and use the incline slightly to ease reflux. When morning comes, you pull the crib to the living room to keep baby close while you prepare breakfast. By nap time, Luna converts to a larger space as your child grows, still keeping essentials within arm’s reach in the basket.

## Technical snapshot (brief)
The Luna includes: 7 adjustable height levels, incline option, 4 lockable wheels, breathable mesh sides, a large storage basket, and a machine-washable mattress cover and fabric. It is described as EN 1130 and EN 16890 safety standard certified in the base description.

## The decision in practice
### Final verdict
It makes sense if you want a flexible, room-to-room sleep solution that grows with your child and keeps them close to you. It’s a pragmatic choice for parents prioritising ease of cleaning, portability and a straightforward setup. If your needs lean more towards premium materials or higher weight limits, you may want to explore other options.

## FAQ
- How easy is it to move between rooms with a sleeping baby? The four lockable wheels are designed to allow smooth relocation while keeping baby safe.
- Can the mattress incline be used every night? The incline is intended to help with reflux or congestion, for other occasions, use based on comfort needs.
- Is it suitable for newborns only? It starts as a cosy sleeping cot for newborns and expands into a larger space as the child grows.
