Lingle 9.4" Backgammon Set for Adults — Portable Faux Leather Case, Includes Chips, Dice Cups and Dice
Product description
What it is
A compact, travel-friendly backgammon set designed for adults, packaged in a folding faux leather case. It aims to combine classic gameplay with practical portability for home, travel or party nights.
What you get
Inside the case you’ll find 30 faux horn playing chips, two dice cups and five dice, plus a zipper-secured interior to keep pieces in place. The set features a metal zipper and a built-in handle for easy carrying, along with a branded print to signal style as you travel between rooms or venues.
What to know
On the live table, backgammon is a strategic mind game that rewards planning and quick reactions. This model is sized to be easy to store at home and straightforward to transport on trips or to gatherings, without compromising the sense of a proper board game.
The essentials
The closed dimensions are 9.4 x 7.1 inches, expanding to 9.4 x 14.5 inches when open. It’s built to be practical for casual play, rather than a premium stand-alone luxury set. If you prioritise a tidy, portable option for occasional play, this covers that need.
Who it’s for
Ideal for families, friends and players who want a simple, self-contained gaming option for holidays, evenings in or small get-togethers. It’s suitable for those who value a straightforward setup with all components included in one package.
What it can and cannot do
On the plus side, you get a complete kit that’s easy to store and travel with, plus a sturdy folding case to prevent loss of pieces. It may not appeal if you’re seeking a high-end luxury finish or a specialised travel board with premium materials. It’s worth noting that the faux leather and horn-style chips are designed to look stylish rather than to mimic top-tier materials.
Before you buy
Check that you’re happy with a compact playing surface and a complete kit ready to use out of the box. Consider whether the size when open fits your typical playing space and whether the included chips and dice meet your expectations for a casual game.
Practical use case
Imagine packing this set into a suitcase for a weekend away or pulling it out after dinner for a family game night. The dedicated case with a handle makes it easy to grab and go, while the included components ensure you’re ready to play without sourcing extras.
Quick comparison approach
If you’re weighing options, this kind of set is often preferred for everyday gaming and travel, where a neat, self-contained kit beats larger, bulkier boards. If you need a more premium feel or larger playing field, you might opt for a bigger, higher-end option, but for value-for-money and portability, this kit delivers.
Is it worth it?
Worth considering if you want a compact, ready-to-play backgammon set that travels well and doesn’t require extra purchases. Not the best choice if you’re after a premium finish or a larger, museum-grade board.
