## Description

## Everyday use

For everyday outfits built around a classic pair of blue jeans, the Levi's 501 Original Fit keeps the look simple and recognisable. Its straight-leg cut gives you a familiar denim shape, while the button fly brings a traditional detail to the design.

Made from non-stretch denim, these jeans have a rigid feel rather than the extra give of stretch styles. The fabric loosens with wear, making them a practical choice if you prefer denim that starts firm and settles into use over time.

Wear them with a T-shirt and trainers for a straightforward casual look, or use the classic blue denim as a base for your own styling. The simple design also leaves room to personalise them, as intended by the 501’s blank-canvas approach.

## Why it’s worth it

The appeal of the 501 is its combination of a straight fit and traditional, rigid denim. If you are choosing between jeans with added stretch and a more classic denim feel, this pair takes the latter approach. The fabric has no stretch, so it retains that firm feel at first, it will loosen over time, but will not stretch back. That makes the change in fit worth bearing in mind when choosing how you like your jeans to feel.

The button fly is another defining feature, giving the jeans a recognisable finish that sets them apart from styles with a zip fastening. Meanwhile, the blue colour and uncomplicated cut make them easy to work into everyday outfits without relying on a trend-led shape or detailing.

## Questions before you buy

**Are these jeans stretch denim?** No. They are made from classic non-stretch denim, with a rigid feel. The fabric loosens with wear but does not stretch back.

**What fit do the Levi's 501 Original jeans have?** They have Levi's signature straight fit, offering a classic straight-leg silhouette.

**How do they fasten?** They have the iconic button fly, a traditional detail of the 501 design.

## Is it worth it?

Choose the Levi's 501 Original Fit if you want blue men's jeans with a straight cut, button fly and classic non-stretch denim. The 31W / 32L size identifies this specific variant, while the rigid fabric and familiar styling make it suited to everyday wear for anyone who prefers a traditional denim feel over stretch.
