LEGO Disney Princess Pua 43292 Building Set with Raft, Crab and 885 Pieces

The 885-piece LEGO Disney Princess Pua set turns Moana’s pet pig into a buildable character for play and display. Designed for ages 9+, it includes Pua, a raft stand and a crab, giving builders more than a standalone figure to create and arrange.

Once assembled, Pua can take pride of place on a shelf or bedside table, or join in imaginative play. His poseable features and removable branch and flower accessories make it easy to change the scene.

Usage tips

Use the building process as the start of the play: follow the instructions to assemble Pua and his raft, then decide how to arrange the crab alongside him. Pua’s head can turn or tilt, and his ears move up and down, so children can adjust his expression and pose for different scenes. The branch and flower can be placed on the figure for display or removed and used separately during play.

For a display, position Pua on the raft and place the crab beside him on a bookshelf or bedside table. When the scene changes, the movable parts let children reposition the character rather than leaving him in a fixed pose. Digital instructions in the LEGO Builder app offer 3D views that can be zoomed and rotated, and allow builders to track their progress and save sets.

What stands out

This set combines a recognisable Disney character with hands-on construction and options for what happens after the build. The raft and crab give the finished model a small scene of its own, while Pua’s adjustable head and ears provide simple ways to personalise his pose. Removable accessories add another choice between a dressed display and more open-ended play.

Compared with a ready-made character figure, this set centres on building Pua from 885 pieces, then arranging him with the accompanying raft and crab. That makes it a fitting choice for children who enjoy both constructing a model and creating stories around Disney characters. It can also be given as a birthday present or an anytime treat for a young Moana fan.

Key takeaways

Made for builders aged 9 and over, the set features Pua, Moana’s pet pig, with a raft stand, crab, branch and flower accessories. The figure’s head turns and tilts, and its ears move, giving children a few straightforward ways to vary the finished display. The accessories can be used separately during play, while the raft provides a setting for arranging Pua and the crab together.

The LEGO Builder app adds digital 3D instructions, including tools to zoom in and rotate the model, as well as progress tracking and the option to save sets. These features support a build that can be followed at a child’s own pace and revisited as part of a growing LEGO collection.

Buying verdict

It makes sense if you’re choosing a Disney building set for a child aged 9+ who likes Moana, animal characters or imaginative LEGO play. Pua’s movable features make the model easy to pose, and the raft, crab and removable accessories give the finished build a clear display scene as well as parts for storytelling. Choose it for a gift that brings together construction, character play and a ready-to-arrange bedroom display.
