Product description

A compact double rotary dimmer from LEDVIA that handles both dimmable LED and halogen lamps, the unit suits simple domestic upgrades where smoother lighting control is wanted. It combines trailing edge dimming with a push on/off action so lamps respond quietly and with reduced flicker, making it useful in living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens where ambience matters.

Key features

This two gang switch supports single or two way wiring and covers LED loads from 3 to 100 watts and halogen or tungsten loads from 3 to 150 watts according to the manufacturer. The trailing edge control helps protect modern LED fittings and provides finer steps at low brightness. Built-in protection guards against overload, overcurrent and overheating while a minimum back box depth of 25 mm is required for safe installation. The unit comes in a white finish and includes a three year warranty plus a 30 day free return period.

Usage tips

Installation is straightforward for a competent DIYer or an electrician, check the back box depth before fitting and isolate the supply at the consumer unit. If you have very low wattage LED fittings, bear in mind some lamps may still need a compatible driver or a minimum load to behave predictably.

You’ll like it if you want quieter, more stable dimming than basic leading edge units provide and a neat chrome free white wall plate that blends with contemporary interiors.

Care & maintenance

Wipe the switch with a soft dry cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. If the dimmer trips frequently, have an electrician confirm load compatibility and wiring to prevent premature wear.
