## Description

If you want a practical way to keep cats safely inside while still letting you air the room, a reinforced cat screen door is a sensible upgrade. The LAIJIANG reinforced cat screen door in 110x220cm size uses a thickened mesh and a zipper closure, so you get a clear barrier against scratching and unwanted visitors. It is the sort of indoor barrier that works well around living rooms, bedrooms, and even patio openings where you want airflow without giving cats free access to gaps. 🐾

## The essentials
This cat screen door is built to handle real pet behaviour, including scratching, with thickened vinyl-coated steel wire mesh. According to the manufacturer, it uses high-force sewing thread stitches for extra durability, rather than relying on typical lightweight screen materials. The door also includes a zipper screen design, which makes it easier to manage multi-pet households when pets need to be separated temporarily. It is a straightforward solution for day-to-day access control, helping keep cats in and bugs out without having to make permanent alterations.

A key detail is the reinforced bottom, with a 5cm extended section that helps stop cats crawling underneath. You secure that extended bottom to the floor using the included hook-and-loop tape and a hook-and-loop placement method. That matters because the most common weak spot on any screen barrier is the area near the floor. 🌿

It is also designed for easy handling, so you can remove it when needed. The installation is described as tool-free, using adhesive hook-and-loop strips on the frame and optionally using push pins for additional security. If you prefer a barrier you can set up and adjust without drilling, this approach is convenient.

## Key features
The reinforced mesh screen door is made with thickened vinyl-coated steel wire mesh, designed to resist pets that like to scratch at openings. The manufacturer states it is pet proof and withstands scratching from cats or dogs. Alongside the thicker mesh, the stitching is upgraded with high-force sewing thread to improve overall strength.

The zipper closure adds practical control in everyday situations. You can open and close the screen section as needed, which is useful when introducing new pets or separating cats that do not get along. The zip structure helps control pet access, while still allowing visual and scent interaction through the mesh when the zip is used for separation.

There is also the extended bottom section for a tighter barrier. Using the included hook-and-loop tape, you secure the 5cm extended bottom to the floor to reduce the chance of gaps that cats could slip under. For best results, the surface should be cleaned first before applying the adhesive strips, as the adhesion depends on good surface prep. 🧼

In terms of fit, the cat screen door size is 110x220cm and, according to the manufacturer, it fits a door opening size of 105x215cm. The guidance is clear that you should measure your door opening before ordering to ensure you get the right fit. It suits a range of door types, including storm doors, interior doors, standard doors, and greenhouse doors.

## What it works best for
It’s a good fit if you want a durable indoor barrier that helps keep cats in and unwanted creatures out while maintaining airflow. You’ll likely appreciate the reinforced mesh and zip closure if you deal with scratching at doorways, or if you sometimes need to manage access for more than one pet. It can also be a practical option for rooms such as a living room or bedroom, and for patio setups where you want a screen solution that can be fitted to door openings.

It might not suit you if you cannot measure your door opening accurately, since the manufacturer’s fit guidance is based on specific dimensions. You may also want to skip it if you are looking for a fully permanent doorway installation, because this product is designed for tool-free fitting and adjustment rather than permanent door replacement. If you want a wipe-clean screen barrier, the grease-proof material is intended to be cleaned with a wet cloth and soap when needed.
