Kynup 2 Pack Secateurs, 1 inch cut
Product description
Keeping branches under control is easier when your tools feel safe and predictable. This Kynup 2 pack of secateurs combines a sharp SK-5 steel blade with a lock design for secure handling, helping you prune with less effort and more confidence 🌿. With a strong anti-rust blade and anti slip grip, these garden pruning shears are a practical choice for everyday trimming around the home, from roses to fruiting plants.
Key points
You get two professional garden secateurs, so you can keep one ready for regular pruning while the other stays as a backup for busy seasons. The blades use SK-5 steel, described by the manufacturer as ultra strong and resistant to rust and corrosion, which matters when tools sit in sheds or near changing weather. A lock button helps you manage the scissors safely between cuts, letting you move the button right for unlocking and left for locking.
The cutting capacity is up to 1 inch diameter, and the set is described as able to handle different branch sizes such as 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch and 1 inch depending on the wood species. That flexibility is useful when you are deadheading, shaping plants, or trimming growth on trees and shrubs without constantly switching tools. If you like a neat finish, these are also suited for trimming and shaping tasks such as working around roses, annuals, vegetables and flower gardens.
Comfort is also covered. The handles are designed with an anti slip feel using a soft silicone matte material, and the handle shape is said to reduce pressure on your hand during cutting. The manufacturer positions the tool as lightweight and sturdy thanks to aviation grade aluminium alloy die cast handles, which can help reduce fatigue during longer garden sessions 😊.
There is also a practical value angle. The kit includes individual backup shock absorbing springs, so you have spares built into the package rather than having to plan for replacements later. It is a sensible pick if you want sharp blades, a straightforward safety lock and a second set to rely on when one is being cleaned or stored.

What stands out
The most noticeable benefit is the blade material. The blades are made from SK-5 steel, described as ultra strong and sharp, with rust and corrosion resistance, which helps keep performance consistent across seasons 🌱. If you often prune in conditions where tools are exposed to moisture, that anti rust and anti corrosion focus can be especially helpful.
Safety and control are handled through the convenient lock design. With the lock button, you can secure the pruning shears when they are stored or carried around the garden, and then unlock them when you are ready to cut. That simple workflow reduces the hassle of managing loose blades and makes it easier to move between plants.
Comfort is supported by the anti slip grip and handle shape. The silicone matte feel is designed to reduce slipping compared with basic plastic handles, while the arc of the handle is said to reduce pressure on your hand. This combination can make a difference when you are trimming regularly, even for jobs that take place in short bursts between other garden tasks.
Worth noting, the cutting results depend on wood species. The manufacturer states it can cut 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch and 1 inch diameter branches depending on the type of wood, so softer stems and thicker woody growth may behave differently. If you are working mainly on deadheading and routine trimming, you are likely to find the capacity suits common garden use.
Who it’s for
It makes sense if you want a pair of reliable secateurs for regular home gardening, including deadheading, trimming and shaping on trees, roses and a wide range of plants. You will probably like them if you prefer a secure lock design and an anti slip handle feel for more controlled cuts, especially when pruning for longer sessions. It also suits practical buyers who want a 2 pack, with an additional set to keep on hand, plus backup shock absorbing springs included in the box. These are a solid match for gardeners who handle mixed plants across flower beds, vegetable patches and outdoor pots, and want a tool that prioritises sharp blades, rust resistance and straightforward safety.
