## Description

This extra large dog mattress from KSIIA offers a spacious, low-profile sleeping surface that helps distribute weight and relieve joint pressure for larger breeds. Ideal for crate use or placed directly on the floor, the grey XXL orthopaedic pad suits dogs that need firmer support and a washable cover for easier cleaning.

## Key Points

The core uses convoluted egg-crate foam designed to spread load more evenly across the surface, which can reduce pressure on hips and elbows during long rest periods. The top is covered in short-pile plush velvet for breathability and comfort, while the sides and base use durable Oxford fabric to resist spills and scratches. A dense pattern of rubber grips on the underside keeps the mattress steady inside a crate or on smooth floors. Note that the pad arrives vacuum-packed and benefits from being laid flat for 24 hours to regain its full shape.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **KSIIA Extra Large Dog Bed XXL**
- Dimensions: 111 x 81 x 9 cm
- Cover: Removable, zipper access in L-shape
- Filling: Egg-crate foam top layer
- Base: Oxford 300D with non-slip rubber dots

## Usage Recommendations

Remove the outer cover using the L-shaped zipper for spot cleaning or machine wash according to the manufacturer's care instructions. Allow the foam to air and expand before first use, placing the mattress flat for one day. For dogs prone to chewing or heavy scratching, consider supervision, as strong chewers may damage fabric over time.

## Advantages

The combination of orthopaedic foam and a low, flat profile makes this mattress a practical choice for larger dogs that prefer a firmer surface. The removable, washable cover reduces the need to clean the whole bed after accidents and helps control odours. Additionally, the non-slip bottom improves safety by reducing unwanted movement when dogs enter or exit the bed.
