KORIMEFA Kids Bike Helmet adjustable for ages 2–13
Product description
This lightweight kids helmet from KORIMEFA offers impact-resistant protection for cycling, scootering and skateboarding while remaining breathable and adjustable for growing children. It combines a durable ABS outer shell with high-density EPS foam to absorb shocks, and the 11-channel ventilation helps keep young riders cooler during active play.
Key Points
The helmet carries EN, CPSC and ASTM certifications according to the manufacturer, giving reassurance for a range of outdoor sports such as BMX, scooter riding and inline skating. The combination of ABS and EPS materials is intended to provide robust impact protection while keeping the overall weight low. There are three removable pads included, two thickness options of 5 mm and 10 mm, and adjustable straps and buckles to adapt the fit as the child grows. 🚴♀️
Technical Specifications
- Name: KORIMEFA Kids Bike Helmet
- Shell material: ABS
- Liner: EPS foam, approximately 19 mm high-density EPS
- Ventilation: 11 vents
- Size S: 48-54 cm, recommended age around 3-8 years
- Size M: 55-59 cm, recommended age around 8-13 years
Usage Recommendations
Measure the head circumference from the centre of the forehead to ensure the correct size is chosen, as the recommended age ranges may not match every child’s head shape. For a snug fit, position the helmet level on the head and use the adjustable straps so they form a V just below the ears. Replace the helmet after a significant impact since foam compromise may not be visible.
Positive Aspects
The removable, washable pads make hygiene simple and allow small adjustments in fit using the two pad thicknesses. The aerodynamic vent design reduces heat build-up during active sessions, which helps comfort on longer rides. Consider that while certifications and materials suggest strong protection, the helmet’s protective capability depends on correct fit and condition over time. 🛴🏁.
