Konijiwa Busy Board Montessori Activity Board
Product description
This wooden Montessori busy board brings hands-on play to toddlers who love switches and lights, combining simple cause and effect with sensory exploration. It suits short travel sessions or quiet moments at home, and according to the original description it helps develop fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination while offering an alternative to screen time. The main feature is a master power control that turns all LEDs off, which keeps interaction straightforward and safe for little ones.
Key takeaways
The board is crafted from natural logs rather than glued panels and each component has been finely sanded so edges are smooth. It includes ten different switches that trigger 23 LED lights, each mapped to a specific colour or type of illumination, and the brightness is set to be gentle on young eyes. The unit is compact and portable at around 7x6x2 inches, making it suitable for travel in a car or on a plane, and it operates on two AAA batteries which must be fitted before first use.

Who it’s for
It’s a good fit if your child enjoys tactile toys and exploring cause and effect, or if you want a quiet, screen‑free activity for short trips. It may not suit if you prefer toys with audio feedback or if you need rechargeable electronics, as this model uses disposable AAA batteries.
