KMTJT Rabbit Carrot Harvest Montessori Toy
Product description
The essentials
A charming wooden Montessori toy designed for little learners, featuring a rabbit base and colourful carrots that slot into the board. The toy supports early colour recognition and size sorting while encouraging fine motor skills as babies pull the carrots from their holes. Made from New Zealand natural pine and finished with water-based, non-toxic paint, it offers a safe and durable first puzzle that families can enjoy together. The bright hues and friendly animal themes invite curiosity, turning playtime into a simple farming game that grows with your child’s developing abilities 🐰🥕.
The toy is suitable for babies from around 6 months up to 12 months and beyond as their coordination improves. As children grow, they can experiment with size order and matching colours, building hand-eye coordination and early problem-solving. It’s easy to clean and sturdy enough for daily use, making it a practical gift for birthdays, holidays or Easter. The natural wood look adds a timeless feel to any play corner, while the smooth finish protects curious little hands from sharp edges 🎨.
Parents can join in the activity by guiding carrot placement and observing how children realise that each piece belongs in a specific slot. This collaborative play strengthens bonding and supports cognitive development without pushing a hard sell. The carrot shapes resemble real vegetables, helping children connect the game to real-world farming themes and everyday tasks.
