Why it’s worth it
The hose feels notably lighter than traditional rubber alternatives, so dragging it across a lawn is less of a chore. The polished metal shell on the nozzle and reinforced connectors reduce the sense of fragility that some expandables have. You get practical control too, with a valve to stop flow and a quick connector for attaching sprinklers or pressure washers. Bear in mind that manufacturer guidance suggests a normal operating pressure of 3 to 12 bars and maximum support of 20 bars, so check your system if you run unusually high pressure.
How to use it
Attach the connector to a standard tap, open the valve and allow the hose to expand naturally as water fills the inner core. Switch spray modes with the thumb control for tasks from gentle watering to a stronger jet for cleaning. Store it with the included hooks and bag once drained to avoid prolonged UV exposure. It’s a good fit if you want a compact, tangle-free hose that balances reach and portability.
Care & maintenance
Rinse and drain the hose before storing to prevent mildew and freezing damage. Avoid leaving it pressurised outdoors for long periods, and do not drag it over sharp edges to preserve the polyester cover. Small scuffs are cosmetic only and do not affect core function.
