## Description

If you want outdoor lighting that reacts when someone approaches, these Kerry outdoor motion sensor wall lights are a practical choice. The downward wall washer style helps brighten entryways and exterior spaces, while the PIR detector adds convenience at night. Built as mains powered downlight outside lighting with IP44 protection, they are suited to typical UK areas like the front door, porch, and garden paths.

## The essentials
Kerry Motion Sensor Wall Lights bring together a modern downlighting look and motion activated control, so you can reduce the time lights stay on unnecessarily. The wall mounted design is meant to give a clean, contemporary finish around your home, and the downward light helps create a more welcoming exterior. At night, the lights can assist visibility when you are coming and going, whether that is after work or during evening gatherings.

A key benefit is the adjustable sensor so you can match operation to your routines. You can set how long the light remains on after movement is detected, and choose the operating period for the sensor. If electricity costs are on your mind, the motion timer helps limit lighting to when it is actually needed 🕯️. There is also a safety angle, because motion lighting can reduce the chance of stepping into the dark when you are navigating the outside areas.

It is also worth noting that this is an IP44 rated outdoor fitting. That waterproof rating is designed to help with day to day outdoor exposure, which matters for lamps installed by doors and along external walls 🌧️. The stainless steel construction is another comfort point, as it is intended to resist corrosion and rusting over time. Installation is made simpler with included instructions, and the cylinder lamp body is compatible with GU10 socket LED bulbs up to 35W, even though the bulbs themselves are not included ✅.

## Key features
The sensor controls are built around two adjustments, which makes the lights easier to live with than fixed settings. First, you can adjust the time the luminaire stays on after a person passes by. The available range is from 5 seconds to 10 minutes, so you can go from brief illumination to longer assistance depending on where you mount them.

Second, you can set the mode to control when the sensor is active. The options cover all day movement detection or switching to night only, which helps avoid unnecessary activations during daylight. This can be especially helpful if the light is near windows or areas that receive changing daylight across seasons 🌤️. You also keep control of how the outside lighting behaves without needing extra equipment.

The downlight wall washer effect is designed to decorate and brighten exterior surfaces. For example, it can complement a front door approach, help define the porch area, and add practical visibility along a garden walkway. If you are replacing older external wall lighting, the mains powered setup is intended to fit directly into the usual external lighting approach. The stainless steel finish is a neat match for many modern facades, especially when you want a consistent look across exterior fittings.

For installation, the included guidance should help you plan the fit and ensure the fitting is correctly set up. Compatibility is clearly specified around the GU10 socket LED bulbs up to 35W, which gives you flexibility when choosing bulbs for brightness and efficiency. Since the bulbs are not included, you will want to source the GU10 LEDs separately before final installation.

## What’s a good fit for you
It’s a good fit if you want downward outside lighting that activates with movement and gives you adjustable control over both run time and when the sensor is active. It makes sense if you are improving safety around the front door or porch, especially where steps, paths, or entryways can look dark after sunset. It may not suit you if you prefer non sensor lighting that stays on steadily, or if you only want battery free outdoor lighting.
