## Description

This battery powered cordless pruner pairs a 40mm cutting capacity with an extendable pole, making it practical for trimming higher branches without a ladder. The KT940 delivers steady torque from a brushless 21V motor and is offered as a two pack with rechargeable batteries and an LCD screen for runtime monitoring. Its Teflon coated SK5 blade aims to reduce sticking and give a clean cut that helps plant health.

## Key features

The pruner is designed for routine tree and shrub maintenance around the garden, allotment or small orchard. A progressive cutting control allows the blade to stop at any opening angle so you can perform delicate cuts similar to a hand pruner. The telescopic pole extends from 1.7m to 2.4m which helps reach higher limbs without climbing, and the long press trigger toggles the maximum cutting diameter between 40mm and 25mm for versatility. Note that if an older KT940 model cannot connect with the pole, Kebtek recommends contacting support for a motherboard replacement.

## Tech specs

- Name: Kebtek KT940
- Type: Cordless electric secateurs
- Capacity: 40MM
- Battery: 2AH rechargeable lithium battery
- Motor: 21V brushless motor

## Why it makes sense

The brushless motor runs cooler and uses less energy than a brushed equivalent according to the manufacturer, so you should see longer operation per charge and extended motor life. The SK5 high carbon steel blade is Teflon coated for corrosion resistance and non stick performance, and is rated for many cuts which suits regular garden use. Keep in mind that heavy commercial pruning may demand a different tool, this set is tuned to domestic and light professional gardening.

## Getting the most from it

Use the progressive cutting feature for small, precise cuts and switch to the full 40mm capacity for thicker branches. Charge both batteries so you have spare runtime and check the LCD before starting a session. You’ll like it if you need a reachable cordless solution that balances power and blade control for seasonal pruning.
