## Description

This slim keyboard case from Inateck transforms an iPad Air 13 inch M3 (2025) or an iPad Pro 12.9 inch into a more productive device for travel, study and light office work. It combines a featherlight chassis with a responsive QWERTY layout and a dedicated pen holder, making typing, sketching and everyday use more comfortable according to the manufacturer.

## Key Points

The case is ultrathin and lightweight, measuring approximately 0.7 cm thick for the keyboard itself and 1.5 cm with the cover folded, and weighing 574 g. It powers on in under a second when attached to the iPad and switches off automatically when removed, so you do not need to operate a physical switch. The design includes a smooth-edge PU pen holder that accommodates the second generation Apple Pencil for magnetic charging, although the stylus is not included. The keyboard layout has six rows and an extra function row to simplify screen lock and volume control actions with single touches, while the 15 mm by 15 mm keys aim to provide a laptop-like typing feel.

## Technical Specifications

- **Name: Inateck BK2007-13**
- Compatibility: iPad Air 13 inch (M3 2025/M2 2024) and iPad Pro 12.9 inch 6th/5th/4th/3rd generation, with model numbers listed by the manufacturer.
- Thickness: 0.7 cm (keyboard), 1.5 cm with cover.
- Weight: 574 g.
- Key size: 15 mm x 15 mm.
- Start time: less than 1 second, automatic on/off when attached or detached.

## Benefits

Typing on the case feels closer to a compact laptop due to the larger keycaps and the extra function row, which reduces dependence on on-screen controls. The ultralight weight helps when carrying the iPad through a commute or on trips, keeping the overall package more portable than many alternatives. The magnetic on/off behaviour is convenient for quick use and conserves battery according to the manufacturer, which is useful for those who move frequently between workspaces.

## Usage Recommendations

Attach the keyboard to the compatible iPad model and allow the automatic connection to engage for instant use. Store the Apple Pencil in the PU pen holder when you need to charge it magnetically or to keep it secure while on the go. If you plan to do prolonged typing, consider pairing the case with a stand or using a slightly raised surface to maintain ergonomic wrist position, since the low profile is optimised for portability rather than long sessions.

Note a couple of practical points: the pen is not supplied with the case, and model compatibility should be checked against your iPad’s model number to ensure a correct fit.
