## Description

This portable DVD player from ieGeek combines a compact 10.5 inch HD swivel screen with a 12.5 inch overall footprint to keep passengers entertained on long journeys and at home. It offers up to 5 hours of battery playback according to the manufacturer, multiple power options for car or mains use, and a vibration-resistant display that can rotate to suit viewing by children or elderly passengers.

## Key Points

The display is an HD LCD with 1024 x 600 resolution and supports a 270° rotation and 180° flip, which makes it easy to angle the screen or fold it flat. Playback is region free, so it accepts discs from different regions, and there is support for many disc types including DVD, CD, DVD±R and DVD±RW. The unit includes car and mains adapters for flexible use on the move or at home, and there is an anti-vibration design intended to reduce image shaking on rough roads. 🎬

## Technical Specifications

- **Name: ieGeek 12.5" Portable DVD Player with 10.5" HD Swivel Screen**
- Screen resolution: 1024 x 600
- Battery life: 5 hours (according to the manufacturer)
- Rotation: 270° rotation, 180° flip
- Media support: CD, DVD, VCD, DVD±R, DVD±RW, CD-R, CD-RW, SVCD (no Blu-ray)

## Usage Recommendations

Use the included AV cable to mirror the player to a larger TV when you want a shared viewing experience. Two units can be linked by AV to AV for simultaneous playback of the same disc on separate screens, which can be handy on family trips. The anti-vibration feature helps keep the image steady during travel, though very rough roads may still produce some motion.

## Advantages

The player supports a broad set of file formats for video and audio, such as AVI, MPG, VOB, FLV and common audio codecs, which expands playback options from USB sticks or SD cards. It also has headphone output for quiet listening and the ability to play while charging, offering continuous use on longer journeys. Consider that the device does not play Blu-ray discs and some high-resolution files above the listed limits may not be supported. 🎧📀.
