Hranio 17mm flange inserts kit, 6 pack
Product description
Key points
If you want a more comfortable fit for your breast pump, the right flange insert size matters. These 17 mm flange inserts are made to help you match your pump parts more closely, which can support more efficient pumping and a calmer experience during sessions. They are designed as practical replacements for breastfeeding accessories, so you can keep things consistent without having to replace your whole pump setup. 🍼
The Hranio kit includes 6 pieces of compatible inserts, made from clear silicone. That clarity helps you see how everything sits while you pump, and the BPA free material is intended for everyday use with confidence. If you have been dealing with a less comfortable fit or you simply need spares, this sizing kit is an easy way to adjust and maintain your routine.
It’s especially useful when you already use a 24 mm shield, since these inserts are only suitable for that specific setup. Ten minutes spent checking your sizing now can save a lot of discomfort later, particularly when you pump more frequently. Choose the insert size carefully, because fit affects both comfort and pumping performance.

What matters most
Compatibility is the key detail with flange inserts, and these ones are built for specific shield sizing. The 17 mm inserts are accessories for breast pumps that pair with most 24 mm shields, and they should not be used with other shield or flange sizes. Tense fit, extra friction, or a less steady flow can all start when the shield sizing is off, so this is one area worth getting right.
These inserts are described as compatible with a range of portable pump systems, including mobile pump models such as Momcozy S9 Pro, S12 Pro, S9, and S12. The kit also references use alongside breast pump accessories and shields, with listed examples including Medela, Spectra, and several other brands and models that use a 24 mm shield size. Keep in mind that the inserts are only suitable for shields or flanges that are 24 mm, so if your equipment differs, you may need a different sizing kit.
For day to day use, gentle lubrication can help. The original guidance notes that using coconut oil or butter on the nipple can reduce friction and make the inserts easier to use. After each session, wash the replacement pieces with warm water and soap, then rinse thoroughly. This helps keep things clean and ready for the next pump round.
Who it’s for
It’s a solid pick if you already use a 24 mm breast shield and you want properly sized spares for regular pumping. It may suit you if you’re looking to keep comfort steady while you maintain your pump accessories over time. Worth considering if you have noticed changes in how the nipple looks during pumping, since some people may experience swelling and appearance changes while they pump.
It’s not for you if your breast shields or flanges are not 24 mm, because these inserts cannot be used with other sizes. It might not be a great match if you want a universal fit across multiple shield diameters. The manufacturer also recommends replacing the flange insert every 1 to 2 months, so it suits buyers who prefer a routine approach to hygiene and consistent fit. If you’re unsure about your current shield sizing, check it before ordering to avoid mismatch during pumping. 💛
