## Description

This solar bird feeder combines a sturdy metal feeder and a garden lantern in one, offering practical light and a reliable seed tray for outdoor use. It suits patios, porches and trees where a weather resistant feeder can both attract birds and provide soft solar illumination for evenings.

## Key features

The 2022 upgraded design brings a brighter solar panel and a thicker metal shell for improved durability. The inverted trapezoid tray gives birds a steadier perch and helps keep seed dry during rain. According to the manufacturer the LED light can run for about 6–10 hours when fully charged, and the feeder is rated IP55 for water resistance. It includes a reinforced suspension chain and an S hook to hang the unit securely, plus a hollowed decorative finish that aims to draw birds by blending with garden foliage. Note that the stated 2.5LBs capacity means more frequent refills are avoided for small flocks, though heavy persistent use will still need occasional topping up.

## Technical details

## Usage tips

Fill the tray with clean seed and hang the feeder where it gets direct sunlight most of the day so the solar panel charges reliably. Clean by rinsing with water and allowing it to dry fully before refilling to prevent mould. It’s a good fit if you want a combined feeder and garden lantern that resists rust and offers a decorative touch. If you prioritise minimal maintenance you may want to check the feeder periodically for seed build up in the hollowed areas, as occasional cleaning keeps it working well.

## Care & maintenance

Wipe down the metal surface occasionally and rinse the seed tray as needed, then let it dry completely before adding new seed. The anti-rust coating helps longevity, but long exposure to very wet conditions may still require occasional inspection. The product comes in gift packaging and the manufacturer offers a two year quality assurance and customer service support.
