## Description

## Key features

A charming indoor scratching post that mixes play and décor, the HOMYHANDS 60cm Cat Scratching Post looks like a small tropical tree and aims to keep kittens and adult cats entertained. The tall sisal-wrapped column offers a natural surface for claw maintenance, while two hanging balls encourage batting and short bursts of activity. This is a practical pick if you want a compact scratcher that also blends with living-room furnishings.

## Specifications

- Name: HOMYHANDS Cat Scratching Post for Indoor Cats and Kitten
- Size: 60cm
- Material: sisal rope, plush base, simulated 3D leaf top
- Colour: palm tree style with green leaves
- Weight: heavier base with plush covering to reduce slipping

## Why it makes sense

The design balances a playful look with stable construction, according to the description. The thicker post and weighted base reduce wobble, which helps shy or easily startled cats feel secure while they scratch. The plush-covered base brings a soft spot for brief rests, and the 3D Monstera-style leaf top adds visual interest without looking out of place in many homes. Do note that the product relies on the supplied sisal wrap for durability, so heavy chewers may wear it quicker than lighter users.

## Everyday use

Use the post in a corner or beside favourite resting spots to encourage regular scratching away from furniture. The hanging balls prompt interactive play, which can increase a cat's engagement with the post. It’s an uncomplicated accessory to add to multi-cat households where multiple small scratch locations reduce territorial damage.

## Care & maintenance

Keep the sisal free of loose threads and trim any frayed fibres to extend life. The plush base can be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Replace the post if the sisal becomes too worn to provide a good scratching surface.

## What you get

The pack includes the 60cm sisal-wrapped post with a plush, weighted base and a decorative 3D leaf top plus two hanging balls. The assembly is straightforward and requires minimal tools.
