## Description

This battery-powered ceiling light from Homelist gives hands-free illumination for hallways, bathrooms and utility spaces, switching on automatically when motion is detected to guide movement at night. It offers adjustable brightness and multiple sensor modes, making it a practical option for areas where wiring is impractical or you prefer a quick, tool-only installation.

## Key Points

The unit is rechargeable and runs on an 8000 mAh battery that the manufacturer states can last up to 90 days on a single charge with around ten activations per day. It includes a remote control to change brightness from 10% to 100% and to select between day/night mode, night-only motion activation, or continuous light. The beam is cool white at approximately 6000 K and delivers about **500 lm**, giving clear visibility without harsh glare. 😊

Light activation is immediate when motion is sensed, which reduces fumbling for switches during the night. The lamp claims a long working life of up to 50,000 hours according to the manufacturer, and it is presented as suitable for bathrooms, garages, lofts, sheds, stairs and basements where a reliable, cordless light source is useful. Installation requires basic tools and comes with screws and a manual so professional wiring is not necessary.

## Technical Specifications

- Colour temperature: 6000 K
- Battery capacity: 8000 mAh
- Rated lifetime: 50,000 hours

## Usage Recommendations

Position the light centrally in the area you want illuminated to get the most consistent motion coverage and even light distribution. For stairways and corridors, mount it at a height that allows the sensor to detect movement along the full length of the walkway. The remote helps when the unit is ceiling mounted and not within easy reach. ⚙️

Consider that cool white 6000 K light can feel bright for small or highly reflective rooms, so reduce brightness using the remote if a softer ambience is preferred. Charging intervals will vary with usage patterns, and heavy frequent activations will shorten the time between charges. This product reduces the need for mains wiring but remember it depends on periodic recharging rather than being permanently powered. 🔋
